Little Random Details About Me

After being in Singapore for quite awhile, life gets a little boring when we are back in Moscow. I miss going out to Bugis to take a walk while the terror takes her naps. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I brought Charlotte to her first swimming class in Moscow. It was also a good workout for me too as I had to carry her and lift her etc. Charlotte definitely had a lot of fun that day and was totally exhausted by the time the class ended. She fell asleep for a good 2.5 hours on the stroller once we stepped out of the swimming centre. This gave Der and myself a chance to have a quiet lunch and also a stroll to the Red Square. We even managed to take a photo of ducks swimming along a half frozen river. A shot with the little terror after nap haha It was the weekend of the pancake festival. Thus there was a giant ice sculpture of a lady holding a stack of pancakes at the Red Square.

We decided on an impromptu trip to Bali this Chinese New Year. A really short 3D2N trip. It has been about 2 years since I was in Bali for my hens night. This time, it was totally different. I went with a baby haha. No more partying and drinking like crazy. The weather was terrible during this trip though. It poured like crazy everyday when we were there. Upon arrival, Charlotte was so excited to hit the beach. She couldn't even stay in the house long enough for us to get changed. The sun was blazing hot when we left the villa. But it started pouring the moment we got into the car! Poor Charlotte... she had to give the beach a miss that day. We ended up checking out some popular restaurants and spent the day eating and eating! I could tell Charlotte was pretty bored. So I allowed her to watch some video during dessert time and even let her eat as much ice cream as she wants. We had a very good red velvet pancakes at The Fat Turtle Cafe. Amazingly, we ended the night chill

We are heading back to Moscow tonight. Time flies when you are having fun. Charlotte will definitely miss running around in her singlets and shorts. Not forgetting all the people especially her gong gong and popo that can entertain her the moment she wakes up. Last run in the hood... who cares about jackets, gloves and boots. Out we go in my pj the moment I open my eyes! She will also miss all her water play. I think I did not give her enough :( But it's ok! Till the next time :)
