-18 degrees?!?

-18 degrees was the coldest I have experienced so far. My face went red the moment I stepped out and it was a little hard to breathe. We had planned to do some ice skating to warm up our body but the planned failed as the rink is closed between 2pm-5pm everyday. We ended up playing a slide and running to the mall to get some warmth. There was a Raffaello event at Gorky Park that day so we had our share of fun at the slides. We were supposed to get the pictures of us sliding down but they are still not available on the website yet. There was a beautiful Christmas theme set up beside the slides too.

New York

7 days in New York... It does sound a little long. I guess we could have squeezed in another state but we were too lazy to do so. I enjoy taking it easy these days instead of having a super packed itinerary where we need to be rushing all the time. Having said so, New York is a place where there is always things to do. Even with 7 days, there were still places or things that we have yet to cover. For lodging, we stayed in W New York which is very near the Grand Central Station. Even though we arrived late at night, our room was not ready when we arrived, we were given a complimentary drink at the bar to chill while waiting. Since it was late, we just hopped over to Grand Central Station to grab some food for dinner. As usual the station is bustling with people. Needless to say... we headed straight to Shake Shack. Super Shiok~ Being in New York meant seeing Starbucks everywhere and everyone seemed to be walking around with a cup of Starbucks. We were no exception
