Here in Los Angeles, LA

After a long 20 hours flight, with 1 transit in Narita airport, we finally arrived in LA. The flight was seriously too long especially when travelling with a toddler in the economy class. My butt started to ache during the second half of the flight. Charlotte was lying on my lap and my movement was restricted. I also totally underestimated the memory of a 2 year old toddler. The moment Charlotte got on to the plane, she requested for me to make her seat into a bed. So she actually remembered her experience in business class from the previous trip. I was surprised but had to tell her apologetically that this seat was not able to do so. She whined a little then asked for a cup of orange juice (sound like a total spoiled brat). In any case, we survived the flight. But now, the jet lag is the next torturing part. Charlotte is experiencing a horrible jet lag. She woke up at 2am and only went to bed at 8.30am. So she's still sleeping now at 3pm in the afternoon. I foresee another sle

Back in Sin For a While...

before flying off again for another adventure! It has only been 3 days back in Sin and daddy has already flown to LA this morning. We managed to reached the airport just in time to say good bye. The flight back from Moscow was good once again. We got very lucky this time as we got to sit in business class! Charlotte is not entitled till she is 6 but the crew was so nice to bump us up. Charlotte was extremely pleased. In her own words "Charlotte's chair so big!" I could really tell the difference in her behaviour between the classes. I was surprised that she sat on the seat all by herself for both landing and take off. She did not even asked for milk. She always ask for milk soo many times when we are on a flight. For this flight, she only drank once! For most of the time, she sat happily in her seat watching cartoons, having her meal, rolling around on the bed. Even pretended to sleep as she was so impressed with the big bed when we rolled it out for her. Even wh

Happy Birthday to Me

Spent my 33rd birthday in Moscow. Nothing special, just an ordinary day as usual, hanging out with Charlotte. But we did have a slice of cake at the end of the day so that Charlotte can have fun blowing out the candle. Doesn't it look more like her birthday than mine? She tried doing a twist sign like daddy in the pic too haha. Charlotte managed to blow out the candle by herself this time. I think she is ready for her own candle blowing ceremony on her birthday! Today is our last day in Moscow. Plans change. We will be heading back to Singapore tomorrow.
