Little Random Details About Me

My whole family went on a grocery cum eating trip to JB on sat. I'm glad my dad drove. I dun really lk taking the public transport. I always think it's so hot! heh. However, we got lost coz my dad wanted to try out some route. And, the wierd thing is, the ppl in JB duno their way ard.. we had to ask a couple of ppl before reaching our destination. Well, the map only helped in some way coz if u were to be lost in some small roads, the map is kindda useless. 1st stop: Shopping and lunch This's a pretty new shopping centre, been here a couple of times by bus. It's lk our Singapore Vivo City, probably bigger. They have all the brands we have and the good thing...I dun have to pay when i shop here coz it's on daddy's expense! hah. Oh.. if anyone din noe, buying contact lens in malaysia is soo cheap. Think i'm going in to make specs even. The supermarket is huge too. I think we spent hrs in the supermarket haha. Seriously, i'm not the only one who agrees tt working in my co., will make one fat. I'm snacking every hr while typing away in front of my comp. Brought this guy called Yars to China Town food st. to explore Singapore food. He's from the Citco Sydney office and will only be here for 1 week. I love my co. ppl. Everyone's from all over the world. Until now, i'm still meeting new ppl. Did not take much pics coz everyone was too busy stuffing themself with food. So i juz randomly took some shots haha. Sorry to those who r not in the pics! (though i'm on "diet" hah.. i still had stomach for my favvvvvvv tangyuans)

Sent ru and char off at the airport on sunday. ( It's so wierd seeing all the parents cry haha my parents and i said bye so happily the last time i left.. hmm.. i'm starting to feel i'm not being loved as much hah) Bye my friends.. i realised i've no more friendssss... boohooooo. So sad.. no more shopping kakhis and ppl who i can msg whenever i'm feeling bored. Celebrated all the May babies birthday on Friday night at sushi teh. Yummy~~ I loveee the food at sushi tei! Sheryl's pressie was a photo frame tt says "circle of friends". This got me digging up for photos of us to put in the frame. well these r the pics i found.. awww.. it feels so nice looking at them.

I think time passes quite fast in the office, which is a good thing. I'm juz stopping to wonder, does life juz revolve ard work, going out after work and weekends? hmm.. something seems to be missing! ( Penny, now i know y u always have those wierd entries abt life hah. anyway. wat's with flowers and May 15? ) Had lunch with irritating evan today. (wat's up with u and ur friendshits man. suddenly sooo into friendshit with gals hurhur...it's ok noe.. dun have to share with me so much lol) However, I must say I lk to have lunch with this person. I dun have to think of where to go!! (it's so sian when ppl ask me where i wan go and eat. if i have something in mind i'll confirm say!) As the director would be arriving from Sdyney tmr, things in the office started to look even more posh hah. Our new coffee machine arrived today and it makes gourmet coffee. Funky machine! We even had 5 mins of briefing on how to operate it hhaha. All of us sua-kus were fascinated. I think the sachets of coffee (on the right hand side, in the box) r so cool. We can juz put it in the machine directly. Different colour represents diff types of coffee. Even the fruit basket never looked better. We have peaches, plum, jumbu, apples, pears, u name it... Lastly, my 2nd fav part besides the temporary pantry, is the toilet. We have Molten Brown and Crab Tree & Evelyn products on a tray in each toilet. Our HR personel kept reminding us to use them coz she loves it hahaha.

Work's treating me great so far but I was still looking forward to the weekends =) Oh oh... peeps, Guess how my weekend started? I went Yio Chu Kang! *Surprise surprise* I went off my bugis diameter k. I think work has made me a little cranky haha i actually went all the way to YCK with Evan to his house to get his car. Oh well saw his "so-called hamster hole". (Dude, if tt's a hamster hole, mine is... can't even find a word man. But jacyn exaggerate la! wat mansion hahah) But it was nice going there actually. Did i mention before i loveee viewing this kind of neighbourhood. Last time i use to ask ppl drive around when i'm free juz to c the houses. So off we went on a scary ride down to pick Bryan up. I muz say this person is a terror driving. I was so worried for my dear life in his car. (I know ur car can go very fast but this's singapore road uncle!) All tt food is making me spoilt! My co.'s treating us pretty well at least for this week. First was lunch at Dome on Monday. I like Dome. I always think the food's not bad. Today, was at Pierside Kitchen & Bar at One Fullerton. I like the sort of fine dining concept. Well the place's not where locals hangout, there's only ang mos there la! The pics dun really do much justice coz i snapped them pretty fast. Later they think i mountain tortise haha but the food all looked so good i juz had to snap them. The appetizer, juz some greens and brinjal, cost 18bucks can! I always wonder y salads r so x. Maybe evan should explain to me one day since u're always ordering salads. The wine we had were good too. I realised the ang mo loveee their drinks. They wanted to drink at lk 530pm. But we brought them to TCC for coffee instead haha. yeah! i'm looking forward to more drinks on Fri! This's how my desk look lk. The office is bascially look abt the same. Very spacio

Not too bad for the 1st day. Management level Ppl were very nice but ppl of my level were generally abit serious esp. the 2 who were not fresh grads. AND there's only 1 guy in the entire office! The next one coming in would be the director, flying in from Sydney. Gosh.. Never felt tt men were so scarce hah poor guy, he told me he felt abit odd. Well there's 2 more vacancies available.. who's looking for jobs?? Mel will only help if u're a guy though hahah kidding!

There's an intended pun to crazy. Crazy as in quite a fun night and also going crazy because of my friend. It was suppose to be gal's night out with sec sch friends. Ppl i meet almost annually BUT as usual the ever busy gal couldn't make it at the last min and do not have the courtesy to inform until one of us rang her. I mean wat's up man.. i dun care if u're reading this but i muz say tt wasn't very nice of u. I feel angry coz i care abt our friendship. I do not dare say i always turn up for gatherings coz i'm crowned the pang seh queen. But i pioritize and i think i do care abt our friendship so much tt i deserve something better. In any case, i would still lk to wish u a safe journey to China. Well the night started with dinner at New Aisa Bar... Music was good but... the crowd hahah 2 ah pek (lk the really old kind) turned me so off i ran back to our table. Also, met up for the first time with dearest Penny's ex UOB colleagues. They were a fun lot.

Who would have known u'll been online watching movies til 5am in the morning and i've so happen to wake up and bump into u and be greeted with good morning. How would I expect to be woken up by a msg from a manager in UBS asking me if i would like to join her team. There's so many "how would I know" in life. (Anyway, tt was just random "how-would-I-know" that come to my mind at this moment) I've been watching Sex and the City and some stuff just got me thinking. I do think abt stuff k ppl. (i'm not a bimbo and I can nv be one.)
