What we do in the day

The little cheeky monkey is in love with the the meitu function I have in my phone. These are the little cheap thrills we do at home to entertain ourselves hah. Otherwise, we will be hanging out in the playground whenever the sun is out. The sand pit is her fav spot at the playground. Fortunately for all the layers on her, the sand does not really get into her. So I always allow her to play in whatever ways she likes. Be it rolling in the sand pit. I always cringe when she does this in Singapore because I can see all the sand going inside her shorts and sometimes even her diapers. Gross!

Budapest

Spent a good 4 days in Budapest. As usual, it was tiring but I would say it was a good trip. Of course there are times when the little one drove me nuts but as usual I still enjoyed the trip. Charlotte is now able to walk more stably and enjoys running around. However it is be both a good and bad thing at the same time. I get a break when she is walking but it would also mean spending more time at one place as she does not always follow our instructions to head in the direction you would like her to. Whenever time permits, I try my best to let her roam wherever she likes and take things slow. One of the nicer pictures we took as a family was on the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. A suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern side of Budapest. Charlotte managed to walk the entire chain bridge even though it took us sometime. She was so excited on that day, she was dancing and clapping along the way hah. It was a good scenic walk.
