What We Got Up To In Sin

Fortunately for me, I have got parents who wake up very early in the mornings. This fits Charlotte's schedule perfectly. Due to the time difference, Charlotte's day usually starts at 4am. She will doze off at 10am for a couple of mins then stay awake till 2.30pm then sleep again all the way till 10pm. This gives me some time to go out for dinner with my friends and still be back in time when she wakes up. I was super tired though due to the lack of sleep. Parks were the main places Charlotte been to when we were in Singapore. Anyway, there were not a lot of places we can go to early in the morning. It is good though as the sun is not up yet. So we won't get burnt by the scorching Singapore sun. When in Sin, Charlotte got a bicycle from Gong Gong. So she was excited to go cycling everyday. Day 1 morning at Admiralty Park. It is also my first time there. I would not have gone all the way to woodlands at 6am if I did not have a jet lag kid with me. Charlotte definitely

Jet Lag

I think jet lag is one thing that I have googled and came up no solutions for it. Unlike adults who can try to self adjust, it's impossible for kids. It just takes time. We were back in Singapore for 1.5 weeks and it took Charlotte 1 week to adjust to Singapore's time. So once she adjusted on thurs, we had to return to LA on sat hah. And now that we are back, she had to re adjust again! Even though she has been sleeping so much, she is still so tired all the time. This was her when I came out of the showers the day before hahhaa This was her after her ballet class yesterday. Hand still inside her snack box. She was snoring so loudly, I could not bear to wake her up. I know she will adjust soon. Just waiting for the routine to be back on track again.
