Road Trip 1 - Palm Springs

Road trips! Ain't US all about road trips? We have been going to a couple of road trips and there will be more upcoming ones. I'm starting to like road trips but I'm not sure about Der because he's the one driving haha. Well I like it as we can bring all we want and not worry too much about weight limits. It is also mainly because Der drives a relatively large car that it has ample space for us to bring whatever we want. Due to the spacious car we have, Charlotte gets away with lying in the back seat and not being strapped to her car seat throughout the entire journey. Not exactly the safest but at least she is more well behaved like this and this keeps us parents sane. We did an impromptu trip to Palm Springs over a long weekend. It was about a 2.5 hours drive from LA. We stayed in a really nice hotel, the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. We had a nice big room and the hotel comes with a huge pool. Charlotte loved the place so much, she kept asking us when

Halloween 2018

I'm very slow in blogging these days. There's no particular reasons. Just didn't have the feel to write anything. But looking back at some pictures, I think there are many events during these months that are worth remembering. One of it was Halloween. It is our 2nd halloween in LA and it is also one of the Charlotte's favourite event here. I think it is because of all the candies she gets. She doesn't get to eat everything but she digs filling her bucket as full as possible. Her bucket always end up so full and heavy, I had to carry it for her. Since she is in school this year, she also celebrated halloween in school. They had a halloween parade and it was very cute to see all the kids in their costume. Charlotte wore the same outfit as last year - Snow White. All the kids walking out from the class Charlotte and her friend Isabelle Halloween is a big thing here in the US. There are many events going on for halloween during the month of October.

Happy 3rd Birthday My Baby Girl!

3 years went by and Charlotte turned 3 years old. I wouldn't say time flew by. It was quite a torture bringing her up and it has only been 3 years hahhaa. My threshold for looking after kids is probably quite low. Of course there are fun times but I doubt I will ever forget the pain too. I still feel super irritated by her all the time up till today. I'm sure I will till the day I die hahha. I don't understand how parents can say they forget it. Maybe when I turn 50 years old hahha. She had a mini celebration in school. They did a ritual where she walked around and showed photos of her from birth till date. She also brought some erasers as little gifts for all her school mates. After school, she had her cake cutting at home. She was so happy and excited to see cakes. Thereafter, we made a trip to Santa Monica Pier. We initially wanted to go to Disneyland but the traffic was too bad. Turned out, Santa Monica was a good idea too. At least we don't have to
