Today was lk the busiest day ever. Had presentation in the morning, CORP test in the afternoon, interview after the test. Stayed in sch til 1230am doing the ppt, still had to study when i go home. Slept for only 3 hrs last night! I was soo scared i'll be late for my morning presentation. Florence lian was one of the judges for our presentation!! The judges were impressive. I aspire to be like them someday. On a side note, florence's hair and colour's very nice =) Ok i cannot tahan liao.. I've to slp. i'll continue doing tmr's ppt tmr and most imptly my corp report! the test is once again a flop.. guessed every single qn. My mum refuse to let me go to HK for my supposedly grad trip. She thinks HK sux. She thinks the ppl are so not friendly, things are expensive, I've been there lk 3 times before and... I'm jobless yet i'm still thinking of playing. My dad thinks she's crazy haha. All he asked me when i asked him abt the trip was.. Dad: Go there for wat? Me: Duh.. go overseas of course holiday la. Dad: Go with who? Me: My SMU friends lor. All gals Dad: All gals? No guys? Ok go... hahah everyone thinks my dad is funny.. ok i really wonder wat's with the all gals.. i thought it's better to have guys isn't it? Anyway the pt is... I'm still going to pluck my courage to ask my mum again. Though my dad thinks i shld ignore her, she'll be nagging at me for life! i swear!!! She's super power.. she kindda lost her voice these 2 days but she could still nag and put down the trip soo much yesterday. She insist i shld go somewhere else but HK! I think she's lying though...

I've nv ending projs to be done. I'm seldom a last min person when it comes to my part of the proj. But, this sem, i always do my part only in the morning before my meeting. SBM proj has been such a flop so far.. my hardest marketing proj ever.. no creative juices are flowing.. SO here i am, taking a break and blogging on the happenings of the week. There's quite a photo galore but I shall post the weekends pics another time. After I've the time to sort them out. Celebrated a belated birthday on fri night. Not bad.. relaxation time after an entire day of failed brain storming. I can so c the gloomy clouds over all our heads during proj meeting. We all felt so screwed. I love my international business grp mates to bits! The best team I have this sem. They're all so easy to work with. No awarkward silence, no tense moments. Furthermore, i only noe them this sem =) Alot have to be attributed to HEROS! we all love the show thus the nick names hah. *** For project sake, we made another trip to another European MNC.

I love travelling but not travelling in Singapore. I've been ard Singapore so much these days. After going to the west, now i went to the east. Far... east.. all the way to Changi airport. ( just for the sake of my overseas friends, Singapore is not very big. Travelling from one end to another would maybe take about an hour or so. I'm just lazy haha ). Ok so i was at the airport having dinner with Fiona and Sharon yu. Actually I do love the airport. I love taking planes, seeing planes taking off etc. The other particular food place i love in the airport is Popeyes! Yummy~~ Only place that serves Popeyes ! think they shld open more outlets in Singapore. *** Went swimming again today. think our sch pool's quite cool too hah. It's so empty and clean. We've the pool to ourselves. Going to make full use of it before i graduate and my card becomes in valid.

I mean literally to the west part of Singapore, a place totally out of my usual radius hah. The ever oh-so-nice elgin picked me up from my hs at 1040 am in the morning and off we went to NTU, in hope of studying for the day. ( pai sei la elgin, make u wait for me for 40 mins haha i bet u seldom wait for ppl so i give u a different experience LOL ) Anyway, I think guys shld give a break to NTU gals. I don't c anything wrong with them. In fact i did spot a few rather sweet looking ones. Though there were less short skirts, but i think i spotted more short shorts! There's really no diff between gals in smu vs ntu. It's all in the mind. ( ok i'm speaking for myself.. smu peeps reading this can dun agree with me ). On the reverse note, there's seriously lack of eye candy for gals. Poor things... no shuai ge!!! esp since the population of guys is lk double or even more of smu! Apparently, this's the world's slimmest 3G handset. But i just hate the look! Look lk a calculator. So wide and flat. I've a hard time msging with 1 hand, which is wat i normally do. i also need to go through more than the usual no. of steps juz to send a sms. I mean the features and all r supposedly very good. The phone even has a 2 mega pixels cam. But i'm more of a aesthetic person. I prefer it to look good than to have good features since i hardly use any features in a phone. Well i got it for free when i changed to the mio plan coz my dad refuse to let me pay money to buy a phone! so irritating. Now i've to wait for his starhub plan to be up before i can change to a new phone coz starhub phones are always cheaper than singtel! I really wonder if i'll ever get use to this phone. I mean i always think it's a matter of use to.

God's fair. It's surprising how i always mention God when i don't have a religion. Anyway, my entry today is abt the gift of my friends. Life revolving friends can be such complex issues. Some friends can be such pain in the ass while some.. ever so sweet hah ( coz they're there to hear me bitch.. kidding la! ) But seriously, the gist is, I'm glad to have friends lk u guys. Thanx bryan and of course ur BBM partner evan. U guys r lk my "always there to hear me bitch" friends in uni. Even when u guys r out, u're still the ones listening and give the right comments, encouragements, advice and blah blah. How can i ever live without u guys hahaha ( I guess it's just the time of the night where i start blabbering crap.. appreciate it while u can.. i wun be tt nice anymore when sunlight shines ). I'm on the verge of failing a course and I've tons of notes to study but i so don't have a mood to. I'm lk "it's my lest sem.. heck.." oh noooo... i feel so bad for having this mentality. I'll do some work after this entry. Anyway, I had 2 gatherings last night. Cedar Point (CP) peeps gathering and another at Villa Bali. Will post pics of CP peeps another time. At Villa Bali, I met another stable of elgin's men though elgin wasn't there hah... SML... oops.. hahah (private joke.. i can so hear steffi saying "mel u're so meannnnn" but u guys r the one who told me abt it) It's all in the name of fun and they won't even noe i'm calling them tt. Had an interview this morning with a fund house that is setting up its operations in Singapore. It's so wierd going for this interview as it's a job that I've nv thought of applying. Well I just got to know abt it through the net working session i attended. My friend was the one who wanted to know more about the co. Since i'm at the net working session, must as well give my resume and.. there.. they called me up. As all of u noe, i've no confidence in finance at all! I really wonder how i get my major. Yet now i'm going for a fund management position. Chim lehhhhh.. Job description alone scares me. It's everything i can't do in sch hah. But actually, i think it's basically reconciliation. But Yes, heeding the advice of the ever experienced Evan Goh, I'm going to be open to all options and i'm taking this as an experience. They're interviewing so many ppl, i might not get it anyway. This week was horrible and i'm glad the weekends r here. My corp reporting test was a flop. I guessed every single ans. Hope i dun fail pleaseeeeeee pleaseeee pleaseeeeeeeee!!! I'm lk how desparate man. Today was a busy day. Besides the test, I went for a networking session and also UOB-SMU alliance bbq at night. Wasn't alot of good companies at the net working session though. Alot of insurance haha poor things.. no one go to their booth. They approach ppl instead. BBQ at night was good!!! Wasn't really a bbq. More lk a grilled buffet table but the food was yummy. Our prof, kept pouring wine for us! Told him i'll turn red he juz laugh and pour more. Love him man.. he's the nicest prof i noe in SMU. Ever so friendly to everyone. Also made a couple of new friends who used to do projs for uob-smu alliance too. Some of them are already working. it was cool listening to all their stories. In any case, I'm glad this week is over. Wasn't the best week.
