Cambodia - Phnom Penh

Whenever I mentioned that I went to Cambodia, everyone will ask "Oh Angkor Wat?". Nope... I did not go to Angkor Wat. Instead I spent 4 days in Phnom Penh. Initially I thought 4 days was too long but in fact, it was just nice. Of course more could have been done in those 4 days but I was too lazy hah. And the weather was so HOT! As a person with bad skin, sun is definitely not good for me. This trip was a very educational trip for me. Before I even thought of going to Cambodia, I had no clue of the Killings, Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot etc. A very brief summary - A communist society was built and as a result, thousands of people were tortured and killed brutally. The most shocking thing to me was that this ended only in 1979, just a couple of years before I was born.  I was quite taken a back that this happened so near my era and I am totally ignorant about it. We first visited the prison where people are captivated and tortured till they are ready to be executed. Bel

Babies Galore

Only at a baby's 1 month party can you see so many babies congregated all together... Happy 1 month Elijah! :)

Happy 2013!

We spent new year having steamboat and making lots of noise! I wish this year will be as happy and fun filled everyday :)
