No Jet Lag

I think we finally chose a good flight timing for this trip back to Singapore. Charlotte does not have any jet lag at all! We arrived in Singapore at around 3.35am and Charlotte has already had at least good 5 hours of sleep on the flight. So upon reaching home, we took a shower and went out in search for breakfast at 5am. We even managed to go to my uncle's soya bean stall to have some beancurd at 8am. Charlotte had fun playing with all the loose change at the stall. We got back by 10am and Charlotte slept all the way till 1pm. In the evening, we went over to my friend's place for dinner and water play. We got home by 10pm and Charlotte's batteries went totally flat hah. She slept all the way till 5.30am! Yippee! No more crazy wee hours and feeling like a zombie this trip. We are still a little tired everyday but I'm not complaining. :) *Cross my fingers* for the return trip!

Last Trip to Singapore Before Another Terror Arrives

Back in Singapore and enjoying my time without Charlotte now. My brother has brought her to the newly opened SuperPark, leaving me with time to myself. My patience with Charlotte is getting close to zero these days. I hate it when she throws a tantrum especially in the morning before I can even fully wake up. Just like this morning. She started kicking and screaming non stop even after I told her nicely that I didn't like her to cry the first thing in the morning. I got so angry that I started hitting her the moment I opened my eyes. Despite that, Charlotte never learns. She'll forget about it very soon and the next moment, she will be throwing tantrums again. With my low tolerance, I also hate it when things will ultimately lead to this. Whenever we are in Singapore, Charlotte tends to over tire herself and go crazy when she really can't take it. It doesn't help when we are constantly on the go to meet people. As much as I would like to meet as many people as possibl

Road Trip 2 - San Diego

In 2018, we also did a road trip to San Diego with another Singaporean family. We are fortunate to meet good friends that we can get along with and has a daughter that is almost the same age as Charlotte. They get along very well too. I am even more fortunate to be pregnant at the same time as my friend and our due dates are just a few weeks apart! We are both having boys too! How coincidental is that? With so many similarities and of course their easy going nature, it makes traveling together so much more at ease. We stayed in an air bnb for this trip thus the girls got to spent a lot of time together. We visited 3 main attractions. The Zoo, Seaworld and The New Children's Museum.  1. The Zoo We took the tram and cable car around the zoo as it was part of our tickets. Usually we have to pay extra and always walked around instead. The animals were all pretty active. So we caught glimpse of quite a lot of animals. 2. SeaWorld I love the beluga whales

Happy 2019!

And just like that, we bid farewell to 2018. No count downs or late night parties. Just staying in our LA home with a sleeping toddler in the bedroom and watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Even the fireworks were seen over the television haha. Sounds sad if you compare to the teen years where partying outside is the norm. But gone were those days. I'm happy staying in, in my PJ as long as I've peace and quiet. I presume 2019 will be a hectic year as the little boy in my tummy will be out in April. With another addition to the family, I believe the year will just go pass without even me noticing. Days with Charlotte as a baby went by as a blur. Looking at her now, I always wonder how did she get so tall and has a mind of her own now? She is becoming quite a handful these days. Everyone is always deceived by this innocent looking face of hers. Anyhow, the first day of 2019 was a good start. We hosted a gathering for our friends. This was the second time we hosted. The firs
