Tokyo

It has been a hectic one week me last week at work. With my manager away on annual leave during the month end, it was crazy! I'm just crossing my fingers for this week, hoping that all the funds get approved without any glitch. *Cross fingerss*

Alright, here's my last post on Japan. I feel like planning a trip back there. I like the place. The beautiful people and all the cute stuff! :)

Tsukiji Fish Market
A pity we reached a little too late. We arrived at 6-615pm and the tuna auctions were over! so much for waking up at around 430am.

One fantastic thing about the market, they sell the freshest sashimi!! All the restaurants have a queue but it was all worth it! The fatty tuna I had, simply melted in my mouth. arghhhh i'm craving for more! As photography wasn't allowed in the shop, this was the best shot i could get from outside. Yup, the place was really small.

Harajuku / Meiji Shrine

We had dessert buffet at sweets paradise :) Great place to try out all the beautiful and appetizing cakes.

Once again, the shrine is huge. Check out the long walk into the shrine.

We managed to see a couple taking wedding pictures.

Hakone
The place was freezing. I was practically shivering under my jacket.

With a 2 day pass, we were able to take the 5 types of transportation in the Hakone area - trains, cablecars, ropeways, boats and buses.

We were supposed to see Mt Fuji at Hakone area. However, there were so many mountains, we were not very sure exactly which one is Mt Fuji hah. I believe this is the one though.

Sensoji Temple Asakusa

We saw this cute looking ah pek selling stuff at one of the stores hah

With this last stop, we had to rush back to our hotel as it was time to depart to the airport...And this was one of the many flight of steps we had to carry our luggage up! I think i developed some muscles.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...
