What we do in the day

The little cheeky monkey is in love with the the meitu function I have in my phone. These are the little cheap thrills we do at home to entertain ourselves hah. Otherwise, we will be hanging out in the playground whenever the sun is out. The sand pit is her fav spot at the playground. Fortunately for all the layers on her, the sand does not really get into her. So I always allow her to play in whatever ways she likes. Be it rolling in the sand pit. I always cringe when she does this in Singapore because I can see all the sand going inside her shorts and sometimes even her diapers. Gross!

Budapest

Spent a good 4 days in Budapest. As usual, it was tiring but I would say it was a good trip. Of course there are times when the little one drove me nuts but as usual I still enjoyed the trip. Charlotte is now able to walk more stably and enjoys running around. However it is be both a good and bad thing at the same time. I get a break when she is walking but it would also mean spending more time at one place as she does not always follow our instructions to head in the direction you would like her to. Whenever time permits, I try my best to let her roam wherever she likes and take things slow. One of the nicer pictures we took as a family was on the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. A suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern side of Budapest. Charlotte managed to walk the entire chain bridge even though it took us sometime. She was so excited on that day, she was dancing and clapping along the way hah. It was a good scenic walk. ...

Good Bye

As much as we hate to see them leave... good byes are inevitable. This family of 3 has made our lives in Moscow so much more interesting. It all started with just 2 in the family and we gradually grew together and multiplied to 3 in a family. Introducing #doubletrouble. They seemed to enjoy each other company a lot especially now when Charlotte is able to understand things better. Hopefully they will not forget each other as time goes by and that we still get a chance to hang out when we are back in Singapore. It was so coincidental that we had our first child around the same time. Both are SG50 babies, only 6 months old apart. Thus we were able to hang out more often to do kids stuff together. They are just so comical whenever they are together. Charlotte is like a copy cat and will follow everything Sienna does. We spent their last day in Moscow swimming at Four Seasons Hotel followed by a mini photo shoot at the Red Square. It was not an easy task trying to take a proper shot ...

Montenegro

Sounds exotic? hah this is what I hear whenever I tell someone I'm going to Montenegro for a holiday. I guess we would not have thought of going there if we are not in Moscow. The flight from Moscow takes only 3hours and since it is winter now it is low season for tourist. Which means accommodations and flights are cheap! Even though it is winter, the weather was perfect for us! Around 18 degrees in the day. We also found a good deal for a 5 star hotel called Hotel Splendid. We arrived at Tivat airport, a very small airport which resembles the airport at Bagan, Cambodia. Thereafter, we took a half an hour car ride to our hotel. The view from our room was so relaxing! The moment Charlotte saw the pool, she couldn't wait to jump in. Even though it looked super sunny, the waters was still too cold for swimming outdoors or in the beach. Thus we headed to the indoor swimming pool for a dip. Swimming was an everyday affair when we where there :) As mentioned, we got a pret...
