Had my welcome dinner with my team at a seafood Korean restaurant at the Red Dot museum: Fu Jiang Korean Restaurant No pics of my team as everyone was camera shy. Boo~. Anyway this meal at the restaurant was quite an experience for me. This is my first time having an entire meal of raw food hah. To name a few, we have normal raw stuff ranging from our usual sashimi which were all so fresh and sweet... to more exotic food like sea cucumber. To my surprise, raw sea cucumbers are actually bright blue inside and they are very crunchy! Don't be deceived by the look, it is harder than those soft pork bones that we can chew on. The highlight for the night was Korean delicacy, live octopus! Yes the tentacles were still wriggly away. The one right on the outer side of the plate, almost wriggled off the plate! The event of the century... Elf's ROM!! The day has finally arrived on 1st Jan 2011. I must say it was quite hilarious witnessing the occasion as his good friend who is always listening to him bitch about how terrible a married man's life can be. This weekend has been crazy! Crazily fun! hahah From countdown to wedding to brunch.. Has been a busy weekend but i'm enjoying it :) The start of the new year seems like a good one so i'm looking forward to this new year with anticipation. Christmas Day 2010 came and left very quickly this year (Yes Su Min, I know there are 12 days to Christmas. But i'm sure no one in Singapore celebrates it for 12 days heh). Anyway Christmas this year seems so quiet. Even though we did almost the same thing, it seemed less happening as compared to previous years. I think we're getting older........ haha Pre X'mas gathering @ The Sail, organized by WY. Thank you so much! haha all the effort just for a place for us to hang out and chill. I think I would never have gone to the Sail if not for this gathering. A pity I did not get a chance to view the apartment. We were in the function room all the time. I must say the view up there on the 44th floor is damn good! I've officially went through 1 entire week at my new job but I'm still feeling jittery going to work. I'm very careful at whatever I do as I always fear of doing something wrong or not good enough. I don't remember having that feeling when i started at my previous job. Maybe coz I set myself a higher expectation now. I hope I can get the hang of things quickly and work independently soon. Not a very relaxing Dec but I'm determine to work hard! So no holiday plans for me now till I pass my probation. To be fair, I had my share of holidays this year so no complaints. The last holiday of 2010 is my Shanghai and Beijing trip. A trip filled with food and more food, walking and more walking!
