Supper @ Adam Rd

The horror movie, The Wicked Man was BAD. Real bad.. I wonder which part of it is horrifying besides the fact that a man was burnt alive. I heard giggles throughout a supposedly horror movie. I even caught a glimspe of people nodding away during the show. What a let down... should have just watched Blood Diamond instead even though the plot does not entice me.

Had supper with the 2 "most impt" guys in my uni life hah and Faith. It's so hard to coordinate a big group outing. Everyone seem to have something going on some time or another. I just can't be bothered anymore. Well evan took the rap and was scolded by sheryl for not asking her along haha. Too bad for u Evan.. LOL. Guess it's just u. You have the "come on.. unleash all ur unhappiness on me" face.


It was a rojak galore. We had indian and chinese rojak.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding .
