Addiction

Here I go again.. addicted to Taiwanese drama once again....

I realize I always go through a phase a couple of times in a year or 2 where I will get super addicted to some typical idol dramas. I'm really quick at watching a show as once I'm addicted to it, I'll do nothing in the weekend but lie on my bed for more than 12 hrs just to finish watching the show. And I will need to take another couple of days after I finish the show to slowly pull myself back to reality and to completely stop thinking about it. I think the longest addiction was back in my JC days when all my classmates were completely mesmerized by F4. Addiction gets worse when everyone around u are addicted and do nothing but discuss about the show and the guys all day long. Guess age is catching up. Discussions are close to nil these days. Thus coming back to reality seems easier.

Just finished watching Summer's Desire. A show by Da S and Peter Ho. Finished it in 3 days and I went to work today with gold fish eyes today coz I couldn't stop crying while watching the show.

As usual, all the guys look super good in the show (i think the main contributing factor is the hair style. I realized even some ugly actor with this kind of hairstyle will look not bad too). And as usual, 2 guys (that all girls will die for), will fall madly, deeply, crazily in love with only 1 girl. Awwwww how lucky is that girl...there seems to be no loss at either choice. Money..checked! Looks... Checked! Unwavering love forever...checked! Y doesn't something lk this happen to me?!?!

Well, one thing different about this show, is that it is more mysterious as compared to all the other idol drama. The ending is not as typical and easy to guess. I must say this is the only drama that I have never fast forward any scenes. My usual practice is to fast forward talking scenes that do not have any of the main characters in it. But this show is different, there's very few side scenes as everything revolves around the main characters. Best of all, the ending wasn't what I've expected! And I still liked it! (P/s: I've another ending in mind! Anyone care to hear? hahah)

Anyway, I must say Peter Ho looks a bit odd in the show. His cheeks are drooping.. but who cares, he's so sweeet even in his overbearing ways. I wonder how is it like to have such a guy as a bf. I always wondered ever since I watched Meteor Garden. All the guys in idol dramas are always super domineering. Have not actually met his kind of guy in my life before but it feels good to watch the guy being all worked up and jealous all the time haha. I'm sure ppl will say it sux in reality but it sure feels good watching it in dramas heh.

Ending this post with 2 songs from the movie. I loveee the songs.. brings back all the memories of the show :) And I think Peter Ho looks much better in his mtv.. a little gayish though haha

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
