Play and More Play

What would a day be like if there is no play involved in Charlotte's day? Charlotte's day is filled with play and more play everyday. Wake up, eat, play, sleep... eat, play, sleep again. The cycle just repeats. Life of a kid is shiok. Oh not forgetting, torture her parents throughout the time she is awake.

So on our 3rd last weekend in Moscow, it was more fun for the little monster. We headed out to the exhibition hall area located at VDNKh where Charlotte spent an entire day scooting around. The large open spaces here makes scooting around very enjoyable. ECP in Singapore cannot beat the spaces here.
Charlotte is getting better at scooting. But most of the time, I would have to be pulling her along or manoeuvring her to prevent her from bumping into things or people. Along the way, we stopped by a little garden with mini super trees that resembles those at Gardens by the Bay.

Charlotte spotted the little stones on the ground. She loves picking up little stones and throwing them.
We also stopped by the huge fountain. Everyone was out and about. Sitting by the fountain, enjoying the sun, having an ice cream.

Once Charlotte had enough of scooting, we headed over to Mac to have lunch. The playground area was impressive! It was huge and spacious and everything looked fun. From Der's research, the playground was done by some Americans and there is a similar one in LA, griffith park. So we are looking forward to check that out when we are there.
On Sunday, we decided that we had enough of the sun and heat. Being a typical Singaporean, we headed to the mall to enjoy the aircon. We also let Charlotte play in the indoor playground 1 last time. I love the indoor playgrounds in Moscow. They are all so pretty looking and they can be huge. It cost 500rub for an hour of play.

Even I could not resist jumping in!

2 more weekends to go....

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...
