Weddings!

I'm counting down to Christmas as I blog my entry each day. Time just flies pass each year so quickly and before I am aware of it, I'm nearing my favourite festival of the year again. Before I get into the Christmasy mood (a few more weeks to go! yipee!!), Dec is also the month of love~~~.

Attended 2 weddings on the same day. A wedding lunch and dinner. Mark the day as 6 Dec 2008 is an auspicious day :) Lunch was my colleague, Isa's, wedding. I must say she looked really gorgeous in the wedding pictures. I really think it's true when people say that all women looks the prettiest on their wedding day or when they are wearing the gown.

The bride and my colleagues. My pic turned out blur coz my colleagues don't know how to take the pic and I decide not to take up the bride's time. Oh well..

The very cute souvenir! It's a shot glass. I love it :)

The wedding dinner was more of a sec sch gathering and re kindling of memories for us all. I always love to see the powerpoint slides that show the memories of couples. I always feel so touched and warmed in my heart when I see them. This time round, while i feel my tears welling up in my eyes, I was abruptly taken aback when by my own pic taken in sec sch suddenly appeared on the screen. I had to cover my mouth to prevent myself from letting out any scream hahaha. I looked hideous!

Anyway, meeting up for such ocassions really got me showed me how fast time flies. The last time I've seen many of them was when we were back in sec sch, wearing our uniforms, sitting in the classroom. And viola.. I see one carrying her 2 yr old child, one introducing her husband to me and of the course the one now getting married now!

Sharon yu, The NUN! haha The vice head prefect in sec sch and my personal organiser back in JC. Without her, I would not be able to keep track of all my datelines

More classmates.

My best buddy back then! I was quite surprised to see her but it is an extremely pleasant surprise. I'm very happy :)

I hope i'll get my hands on the pic with everyone soon...

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
