Good Bye

As much as we hate to see them leave... good byes are inevitable. This family of 3 has made our lives in Moscow so much more interesting. It all started with just 2 in the family and we gradually grew together and multiplied to 3 in a family. Introducing #doubletrouble. They seemed to enjoy each other company a lot especially now when Charlotte is able to understand things better. Hopefully they will not forget each other as time goes by and that we still get a chance to hang out when we are back in Singapore. It was so coincidental that we had our first child around the same time. Both are SG50 babies, only 6 months old apart. Thus we were able to hang out more often to do kids stuff together. They are just so comical whenever they are together. Charlotte is like a copy cat and will follow everything Sienna does. We spent their last day in Moscow swimming at Four Seasons Hotel followed by a mini photo shoot at the Red Square. It was not an easy task trying to take a proper shot ...

Montenegro

Sounds exotic? hah this is what I hear whenever I tell someone I'm going to Montenegro for a holiday. I guess we would not have thought of going there if we are not in Moscow. The flight from Moscow takes only 3hours and since it is winter now it is low season for tourist. Which means accommodations and flights are cheap! Even though it is winter, the weather was perfect for us! Around 18 degrees in the day. We also found a good deal for a 5 star hotel called Hotel Splendid. We arrived at Tivat airport, a very small airport which resembles the airport at Bagan, Cambodia. Thereafter, we took a half an hour car ride to our hotel. The view from our room was so relaxing! The moment Charlotte saw the pool, she couldn't wait to jump in. Even though it looked super sunny, the waters was still too cold for swimming outdoors or in the beach. Thus we headed to the indoor swimming pool for a dip. Swimming was an everyday affair when we where there :) As mentioned, we got a pret...

Swimming

After being in Singapore for quite awhile, life gets a little boring when we are back in Moscow. I miss going out to Bugis to take a walk while the terror takes her naps. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I brought Charlotte to her first swimming class in Moscow. It was also a good workout for me too as I had to carry her and lift her etc. Charlotte definitely had a lot of fun that day and was totally exhausted by the time the class ended. She fell asleep for a good 2.5 hours on the stroller once we stepped out of the swimming centre. This gave Der and myself a chance to have a quiet lunch and also a stroll to the Red Square. We even managed to take a photo of ducks swimming along a half frozen river. A shot with the little terror after nap haha It was the weekend of the pancake festival. Thus there was a giant ice sculpture of a lady holding a stack of pancakes at the Red Square.

Bali

We decided on an impromptu trip to Bali this Chinese New Year. A really short 3D2N trip. It has been about 2 years since I was in Bali for my hens night. This time, it was totally different. I went with a baby haha. No more partying and drinking like crazy. The weather was terrible during this trip though. It poured like crazy everyday when we were there. Upon arrival, Charlotte was so excited to hit the beach. She couldn't even stay in the house long enough for us to get changed. The sun was blazing hot when we left the villa. But it started pouring the moment we got into the car! Poor Charlotte... she had to give the beach a miss that day. We ended up checking out some popular restaurants and spent the day eating and eating! I could tell Charlotte was pretty bored. So I allowed her to watch some video during dessert time and even let her eat as much ice cream as she wants. We had a very good red velvet pancakes at The Fat Turtle Cafe. Amazingly, we ended the night chill...

Packing...

We are heading back to Moscow tonight. Time flies when you are having fun. Charlotte will definitely miss running around in her singlets and shorts. Not forgetting all the people especially her gong gong and popo that can entertain her the moment she wakes up. Last run in the hood... who cares about jackets, gloves and boots. Out we go in my pj the moment I open my eyes! She will also miss all her water play. I think I did not give her enough :( But it's ok! Till the next time :)

Back Home Once Again...

Hee Hee Hee.... This cheeky monkey has been surrounded with people ever since she returned to Singapore. There is never a dull moment for her. There will be either activities planned or someone to entertain her whenever she is back in Singapore. I think she is getting spoiled by her grandparents back here and she is slowly starting to throw tantrums whenever she is upset. It really frustrates me when I see her throwing tantrums and refusing to cooperate. This trip back was mainly to attend my cousin, Rosebud's wedding. But with this kid around, I only managed to stay inside before the worship begins. I was outside the entire time instead of attending the service when it started. Charlotte did better at the wedding banquet though as there was food to keep her occupied. But as usual, we had to walk around most of the time.  The flowers around were a source of entertainment for her. She enjoyed plucking out all the rose petals. The stairs were also another source of entert...
