Back Home Once Again...

Hee Hee Hee....
This cheeky monkey has been surrounded with people ever since she returned to Singapore. There is never a dull moment for her. There will be either activities planned or someone to entertain her whenever she is back in Singapore. I think she is getting spoiled by her grandparents back here and she is slowly starting to throw tantrums whenever she is upset. It really frustrates me when I see her throwing tantrums and refusing to cooperate.

This trip back was mainly to attend my cousin, Rosebud's wedding. But with this kid around, I only managed to stay inside before the worship begins. I was outside the entire time instead of attending the service when it started. Charlotte did better at the wedding banquet though as there was food to keep her occupied. But as usual, we had to walk around most of the time.
The flowers around were a source of entertainment for her. She enjoyed plucking out all the rose petals.
The stairs were also another source of entertainment. Charlotte loves climbing up and down stairs. No idea why! Poor Gong Gong had to follow her up and down.

Everyone in the family attended the wedding except for my grandfather as he was not feeling well. I really like this family photo :)
We explored the Fullerton Hotel after the wedding like tourist. It was actually my first time walking around the hotel.
We also brought Charlotte out to walk along the Singapore river. While we were walking, Miss vain pot suddenly decided to pose for the camera without me asking her to hah. Maybe she was just following what the other tourists were doing. I thought it was really funny. I think she looks really pretty in this picture though. She fell asleep in the stroller there after.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
