Good Bye

As much as we hate to see them leave... good byes are inevitable.
This family of 3 has made our lives in Moscow so much more interesting. It all started with just 2 in the family and we gradually grew together and multiplied to 3 in a family. Introducing #doubletrouble. They seemed to enjoy each other company a lot especially now when Charlotte is able to understand things better. Hopefully they will not forget each other as time goes by and that we still get a chance to hang out when we are back in Singapore.
It was so coincidental that we had our first child around the same time. Both are SG50 babies, only 6 months old apart. Thus we were able to hang out more often to do kids stuff together. They are just so comical whenever they are together. Charlotte is like a copy cat and will follow everything Sienna does. We spent their last day in Moscow swimming at Four Seasons Hotel followed by a mini photo shoot at the Red Square. It was not an easy task trying to take a proper shot of these 2 little uncooperative monkeys.
A shot of the mummies and kiddos.
Since we had kids, we realized that we hardly take pictures of both of us anymore. We were always busy taking shots of just the children! Thus a final shot in front of the St. Basil Cathedral was mandatory.
Good Bye my friend! I will definitely miss having you here in Moscow!
We also managed to surprised them at the airport to bid them a final good bye. As usual, the kids were oblivious of what was going on.
All the best to them!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
