Back in Sin For a While...

before flying off again for another adventure! It has only been 3 days back in Sin and daddy has already flown to LA this morning. We managed to reached the airport just in time to say good bye.
The flight back from Moscow was good once again. We got very lucky this time as we got to sit in business class! Charlotte is not entitled till she is 6 but the crew was so nice to bump us up. Charlotte was extremely pleased. In her own words "Charlotte's chair so big!"
I could really tell the difference in her behaviour between the classes. I was surprised that she sat on the seat all by herself for both landing and take off. She did not even asked for milk. She always ask for milk soo many times when we are on a flight. For this flight, she only drank once! For most of the time, she sat happily in her seat watching cartoons, having her meal, rolling around on the bed. Even pretended to sleep as she was so impressed with the big bed when we rolled it out for her.
Even when the lights were dimmed, she continued watching her cartoons by herself.
I only had to sit with her for a bit nearer the end of the flight to pat her to sleep as she was tired and could not really get to sleep. Just a couple of mins and....
I had to carry her off the plane hahha.

I am sure we will not be so lucky the next time. After this flight, I was just thinking about all the blogs I read on tips to travelling with a toddler. For all the rich bloggers out there, instead of the million gadgets, one should just pay to buy a biz class seat. Solves all the prob! haha If only I could afford it...

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
