Turning 8 Months Old

Still driving me crazy most of the time... and I wonder if she understands what I say now. In any case, I must agree that time flies. I survived 8 months with her. She is super sticky to me and recently, she started saying "ma ma ma" whenever she is upset or does not see me.

Charlotte is progressing to standing but still crawls with her stomach on the floor even though she can lift her tummy up. I enjoy bringing Charlotte outdoors, to let her be closer to nature but since she has eczema, I feel wary about her crawling on grass patches outdoor. I think it would be better if she is able to walk. I am afraid that crawling on the grass will aggravate her skin condition. Nonetheless, she had her share of fun at the petting farm on Father's Day with her other little friend Sienna who is constantly running around now hah.

Auditioning for a slot in the Moscow Circus. This is Charlotte and PaPa's latest trick.

We ended the day with dinner at a fantastic restaurant, AQ Kitchen. I was glad the kids did not fuss too much. We were able to have our meal and even dessert. Charlotte enjoys crawling to forbidden places. Restaurant tables seem to be very exciting for her.
The 2 little ones bonding over a book on the table. But instead of reading it, they are chewing on it!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
