24th Week

3 more weeks before I return to Singapore. I have been feeling perfectly normal these days in terms of physical well being. Except that this week, I look like Bao Qing Tian hahaaa. I always have lots of issues regarding my skin and I wonder when will it ever stop. When I'm old and wrinkled? It's not funny but i just cannot help but laugh at myself. I look super sun burnt after using a detoxifying mask on my face. Derrick said since it's summer, I can just tell people I went sun tanning. boohoo... By the way, it's not a cheapo mask that I have used. It's an AESOP mask! I guess it's because my skin is too dry to begin with to handle such a harsh mask. Unlike in Singapore where I am perpetually oil. So i basically call myself Bao Qing Tian this entire week. Fortunately, it's getting better and I can start to party this weekend hahah.

Movements of the baby can be felt more frequently these days. It's quite funny to see the tummy jiggle and wiggle. This happen usually after a meal when I sit down to rest. Its hard to imagine how a life can be growing inside my tummy.

I have yet to purchase any stuff for the baby but I still think I have lots of time to do so. Friends have been giving me tips and lists of things to buy. I'm still hopeful of getting more hand-me-downs. I am really thankful to all the friends that have passed me so many things. Kids stuff are so expensive these days and hand-me-downs can really save us a lot of $. The $ can definitely be put to use when the kid grows up and start to request for things.

Check out my bulging tummy that Derrick has been talking to everyday. This is a magnet that we have printed at a photo booth during the weekend. We had fun playing with the photo booth. It was like a neo print machine except we can print magnets.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...
