It's the time of the year...

for ice skating! Ice skating rings are popping up all around Moscow at this time of the year. I doubt there are any russians that cannot ice skate hahah (I'm exaggerating) So to immerse into Russian's winter culture, we brought our skates down to Gorky Park to have some fun!
I may not be able to skate now but I sure can balance! hah I'll be practising my skating skills and hopefully I will be able to glide smoothly by the end of winter ;)
Derrick trying to pose like a figure skater hahaha
The ring at Gorky Park is amazing, it is unlike the rings in Singapore that is only 1 rectangle space. This ring is practically the walking path of the park where we can skate to the restaurants for a cuppa of coffee or have some food etc. Basically, it is easier to get around on skates then if you are walking. There are some areas that will not even be accessible if you are not skating.
Everyone was having so much fun! I can't wait to visit all the other ice skating rings around Mosow! Till the next skating session :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...
