T.G.I.F

And I literally mean it.... I'm starting to get worried as I start to feel that the week is always so long. I remember it took me more than a year before I felt this way in my previous job. I'm in this job for only 6 months and I am already feeling weary all the time. It's not the job per se ...

Meeting der's colleagues for lunch today and even during the hs warming party during the weekend, brought back all the memories I had before everyone resigned. I kind of envy that colleague bond they share. You girls should definitely cherish it! (I know you girls will be reading this hah! Yes I'm talking about you girls!)

*I deleted an entire paragraph I wrote haha in case I get into trouble. The internet is never private! I'm such a chicken.. haha I hear this phrase about myself all the time..

Anyway, congrats to baby Haziq's on his 1 month old celebration :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...
