Super Delayed Posts!

I'm back from Bangkok! Before you guys exclaim "Traveling again?!?!" Yes Yes I know I've been traveling quite a bit this year. But this is the last one planned so far. :( I need to plan for more so that I have something to look forward to. hahah

Well Bangkok is almost back to normal. Besides the bombing incident that happened during the time I was on my way to the airport (I had no idea about it), every other time spent in BKK was very peaceful. I see tourist and locals all shopping happily. I think BKK economy should be able to pick up real soon. Anyway, I had a great time shopping and catching up with friends! Thanks to all my thai friends, all of you gave me such a great time! :) Stay tune to the pics.... I need to sort them first heh.

1st super delayed post:
Rednano hunt for love race. Thanks to my bro, we got to learn about the race and took part in it. My bro's team was the winner and der and I emerged as the 1st runner up. :)
Basically, we were supposed to download the Rednano Locate App in our Iphone and use it to search for locations all over Singapore using the clues that were given to us. At each location, we were supposed to take a pic as proof that we were there.

So after our Jetstar saga, I present you the Rednano Hunt for Love race hehe. I enjoy participating in such stuff. It's fun!

2nd super delayed post:

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
