KUDOS to ALL

It's finally Thursday tmr! Yipeee it's going to be the weekend soon once again. Can't wait...

ok down to my belated post abt my last weekend. Did the 10km run at ECP, jointly organised by Touch Community and Anderson JC on Sunday morning. The main organiser is my brillant cousin. Well Done Rosebud!! You did ur school proud and we're all proud of u as well :) Because of my cousin, almost the entire Tang family went there to help out haha. We have the cheerleaders (her sister and mum), runners (me, my aunt, my god bro & bro and the youngest sis), the road marshals(her dad, my dad). Stupid der went around telling everyone this run is a Tang family scam and i'm using tt money to fund my branded stuff. Yeah.. if only.....

Anyway, KUDOs! to all my friends who gamely made it down sooo on time!!! You guys and girls r so onz!! I am seriously very very extremely amazed and touched by everyone's effort. Every single person made it at ecp (such inconvenient location) at 645am SHARP. Can u believe it!?!??! sharp!?!? amazing ... i'm still speechless.

I've to name out every amazing ppl... U ppl deserve a pat on the back and good run everyone! of course except.. hehe u noe who...
The amazing ppl are (by order of speed i think hehe): Bryan, Evan, Alvin Tan, Alvin Tang(my bro), Derrick, Aaron, Mel Tang :), Lisa(my running buddy), Shannon, Jopie(he was unwell yet he turned up so he's forgivable for not really running),,,,,,,,,,Elgin hahahah

This was taken at 645am. My cam made it look lk it's so dark and early heh.

Only took pics with these other 2 guys after the run

The 2 who strolled back after sitting at bedok jetty (which is not even 500m from the start pt). They were happily blaming each other on the way back.
My usual after run pic with lisa :) We made a pact to wear the same top heh

I must pat der on the back too! His very first 10km run

***
Right after the run, Der, my bro and I went home to bathe and rush off to lunch at Pheony Jade at Clarke Quay. It was to celebrate my grand dad's birthday. The food there's good! yummy~ even the super fussy der agrees. Most importantly, my grand dad loves it!! He usually eat soo little but he ate even more than me on sun! *beams* It was a good lunch even though we're all exhausted.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
