Happy National Day 2008

Happy 43th Birthday Singapore! This year's the 2nd year the national day parade was held at Marina Bay and I'm still unable to get tix to watch at the new location. Did not manage to watch the fireworks either but I could hear it from ECP. heh

Celebrated this year's national day at east coast park bbq-ing with my bunch of fun loving friends. Thanx Su Min for organising it! Even though we had to start the bbq 2 hrs later than the stipulated time due to the heavy down pour, we all had loads of fun :)

As it was national day, we decided to bask in the national day spirit and turn up in the same NDP t-shrit! Such a sec sch idea but it was all in the name of fun.

The red team

vs The white team

Fortunately for us, we have the wonder Derrick Leow and Lee Chee Seng! Without them, we would have no fire, let alone... food....

All the food waiting to be cooked. Yum~

Yeah! we love BBQ!

As for the guys, they prefer their HP. The entire night's topic was on their HP. They were basically huddling in one corner. BORING.

To entertain themselves, the 2 crazy girls, tan you ru and fiona chen decided to go around grabbing guys butts and touching guys chest. Presenting the different butts....

And erm chest...

And taking innovative pictures like Tan you ru's very own Olympic torch

...that nv went pass the 2nd torch bearer, cheese.

No idea what happened to ru-jie tt night but she was on ultimate high mode. She was making every single person crack up lk crazy with all her hilarious actions.
The NDP T-shirt pose

Finally, a proper pic of us before we called it a night.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...
