Happy Birthday To Me!

Besides all the cakes, I've officially been titled the Florist. My colleague thinks tt the florist sales have upped by quite a bit coz it's mel's birthday. My area was lk a garden today! Check them out...

Flowers from Citco (it was initially lilies but a bud broke off and the florist compensated me with a new bouquet! hah)

Flowers from Rohit!!! Came as a shock when the door bell (he was trying to imitate my "secret admirer" but... the card gave him away again heh) All in the name of fun.. I love the flowers.. i think the pink lilies are soooo pretty!! I think the balloon is the cutest.

The door bell rang again for the third time and i swear... all the gals in the office was super duper ultra jealous of me. All thanx to JAMES!!!! James, u're the man. All the gals in my office loves u now haha. 99 Stalks of roses. How cool is tt. My manager can't stop admiring it. She kept arranging the bouquet the entire day! The pt is.. Thanx james... it was really sweet of u.

Well all good things have to come to an end.. i had a great time in office today. With the beautiful flowers, yummy cake and donuts my colleagues got to celebrate my birthday, i felt sooo loved heh. Thanx guys =)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Reunion Dinner on New Year's Eve... New Year Day 1 (Chu yi) My fav dish. It's a vegetarian dish we always eat on Chu yi. Think only cantonese eats this. yummy.. and we also have to drink Cheng Teng. New Year Day 2 (Chu er)

Pending Down My Thoughts for 2021

10.07pm, 31 Dec 2021. The year 2021 is coming to an end. The year of Covid. The year we left LA and returned to Singapore for good. It has been 9 months since we got back but I still feel like it happened so recently. One of the Singaporean family we met in LA and hung out very often is in town to visit. Charlotte asked if we can return to LA together. She asked if we are really not going back anymore. We all miss LA a lot. Definitely much more than Moscow even though Moscow is a very memorable place too. Spent the day at Sentosa, The Luge. Kiddos had a lot of fun despite the heat. I enjoyed myself a lot too and I am missing the times we hung out in LA. Thinking about them going back and us staying behind makes me a little sad. The kids still got along very well even though we have not met for sometime. Hopefully their friendship will remain as they continue to grow up. Recap of 2021 1. I realized I can bake. 2.
