3rd day at work...

Ok yesterday's lunch wasn't so bad.. at least i did not felt so awkward haha I guess it's becoz on the first day, my boss talks so much, I had nothing to say. When we had lunch without the boss, at least i'm free to talk abt anything.

But.. I still feel bored without anyone talking to me at work! MSN is such great invention. Without it, i'll be bored to death..let alone tears. Like for now, I'm the only one in the office!!! Everyone is probably still on their way haha this's the first time i had to open the office door. It took me sometime to pull the key out after opening the door haha. Wonder what kind of work environment would I be in when i graduate.. I pray that it'll not be so lonely.

P/s: I wonder y Chris nv told me tt i'll be working in a all male environment??? Not tt it'll make a diff in the first place but I thought it's the norm for people to voice it out during the interview or something lk tt. Guess ppl of different culture works differently. I'm sure a asian based environment would have told me abt it right at the very beginning.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
