Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas eve =) though I do not usually have a big celebration, I loveee Christmas. The mood and atmosphere is always so nice. For Christmas day, we'll always have a big family gathering with my grand parents, aunties, uncles and cousins. The whole family would be there. We'll have gifts of course, under the Christmas tree and a wide spread of yummy food. However for Christmas eve today, my family and I are not heading to church. My dad contracted shingles (some patchy rashes like thingy that have water bubbles and hurts alot). Hope he gets well soon. He've been staying at home these 2 days and i've been the driver! Yes.. i finally drove the car alone! *beams* parking still sux but at least i can park. Just quite embarrassed whenever i park my car.

Last thing I've to say... The show "The L Word" is nice!!! It totally unleashed the lesbian tendencies in me once again LOL. Shane is soooo cute!!! I swear.. so much cuter than the guys i know. i wouldn't think twice abt going into a relationship with someone lk her la. oops.. heehee. Just yesterday, I saw this other damn cute butch tooooo on the MRT. She's a nurse haha she's wearing the uniform but it's the pants kind and I think she works at KK hospital.

Alright, for now, I once again wish all a very Merry Christmas!!! May all your dreams and wishes come through... All the best for the coming year!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
