Hola from Madrid, Segovia n Sevilla

I'm back from Spain! The 12 days of my trip are over and I have already been back to work for a week! As usual, we walked a lot and ate a lot. I built up a lot of calf muscles along the way heh. Hopefully it will come to use for my sundown marathon in 28 days time hahah. I think I might have a hard time as I barely trained for it. Oh well.. I'll take it slow. Anyway Spain is quite different from my Europe trip last year. There is obviously less shopping this time as compared. The shops were mainly Zara, Mango and Loewe. Unfortunately, I do not fancy any Loewe bags this time... Rohit, who was studying over at Madrid picked us up from the airport. After we checked in, we went for a walk along the busy shopping street and headed towards a huge park. As usual, ppl in Europe love parks. We ended the day with dinner as we were a little jet lagged. We had Jamon (ham) which is a Spanish delicacy. Not forgetting a bottle of wine... Wine and beers are much cheaper than soft drinks and mi...

Hidden Find?

Not really sure if this is considered a hidden find haha. Thai restaurant in Serangoon. I will never have known about this Thai place if der did not bring me there. It was surprisingly crowded and I see the queue snaking even at 830pm! I must say the food is pretty good. Very authentic and tasty too :) but a little expensive for a neighborhood restaurant. The total bill was $30 for 4 dishes for just the 2 of us. Sweet n Sour Pork Green Curry n Spring Rolls. Oh there were way too little chicken in the green curry! haha only 4 pieces if I did not remember wrongly. *** Anyway I'm off to Spain tomorrow night! Finally I get to go on a holiday after my 3 months probation. I never felt happier being able to go on leave. A pity der will not be going with me. I'll definitely feel more at ease if he's coming along. I'm sure I'll miss him :) Stay tune for more pics to liven up my blog once again!

Hakuna Matata!

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase~ It means no worries for the rest of your days.... Its our problem-free philosophy...Hakuna Matata! The Lion King musical held at the Marina Bay Sands is a MUST watch musical! I was so captivated by the musical, it left me smiling all the way home and even till the next day hah. I am impressed at the cast. From the vivid coloured costumes to the bright make up and the way the traits of the animals were portrayed, really brought the whole cartoon back to life right in front of my eyes. As we managed to get really prime seats, ( we were seated in the 2nd row :) ), I could see every single expression and the intricate make up on the actors/actresses face. I managed to snap some shots of the play... so enjoy! Us waiting to enter the hall. I even wore a leopard print skirt to match with the animal theme hahah just kidding! Enjoying a glass of complimentary wine before we enter and we were each given a lion king mask as a souvenir. The live band beneat...

Hanabi @ Oden Towers

My heart goes out to the ppl in Japan. I think Japan is a beautiful country and I feel sad that it is subject to this disaster. I hope things will recover quickly for them and give us back the beautiful Japan it used to be... GAMBATEH!!! *** I'm addicted to all the coupon websites these days: - Outlet.com.sg - InSing.com super deals Any other sides to recommend? Those 2 are the predominant ones that i go to and they have deals ranging from food to beauty to travel deals and many others. So far I bought 2 food related deals. As the food deals are not very pricey, I'm so tempted to buy most of the deals that come up everyday. I just went to Hanabi @ Oden towers yesterday as I bought a $25 buffet lunch voucher from outlet.com.sg. Well i think the food is just average and the service was horrible! The lady just pulled a long black face the whole time no matter how smiley I was and no matter how I said thanks to her. What was worst was that she turned me away when i arrived 10 mins ...

Evan's ROM

It was a little surprising that Evan had such a simple ROM. But it was still a beautiful and sweet moment for the lovely couple. I will like to extend my greatest congratulations to them :) I was greeted by the happy faces of the family members upon arriving at their place and thereafter my eyes were immediately drawn to the terribly cute cupcakes on the table! Awwww just looking at them now makes my heart flutter hahah We managed to take some pics with the bride and groom before the solemnization . The solemnization started once all the guests have arrived. I think Evan was pretty nervous throughout hah Signing the marriage papers Exchanging of rings And there.. our newly wed :) After the signing, we all adjourned to the porch to attack the yummy looking spread. That marks the end of the event :) with Evan happily opening up our present to him..

Jeremy & Amber's Wedding

The Feb wedding - Jeremy & Amber :) Congratulations! A cute and light hearted wedding as compared to the normal wedding dinners I have attended. I especially love the march in part where Jeremy sang to Amber on their way out. I applaud the CIMB singing king! His voice really sounded as though it was a song played over the stereo system. All of us with the beautiful bride and groom Me and the bride :) She's a SIA girl so she's so skinny, I'm lk a pig beside her :( More randoms pics from the wedding... Finally . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Do not be alarmed by this final pic . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . hahahah I thought der looked quite funny! Enjoy the rest of the work week peeps!
