Hanabi @ Oden Towers

My heart goes out to the ppl in Japan. I think Japan is a beautiful country and I feel sad that it is subject to this disaster. I hope things will recover quickly for them and give us back the beautiful Japan it used to be... GAMBATEH!!!

I'm addicted to all the coupon websites these days:
- Outlet.com.sg
- InSing.com super deals
Any other sides to recommend?

Those 2 are the predominant ones that i go to and they have deals ranging from food to beauty to travel deals and many others. So far I bought 2 food related deals. As the food deals are not very pricey, I'm so tempted to buy most of the deals that come up everyday.

I just went to Hanabi @ Oden towers yesterday as I bought a $25 buffet lunch voucher from outlet.com.sg.

Well i think the food is just average and the service was horrible! The lady just pulled a long black face the whole time no matter how smiley I was and no matter how I said thanks to her. What was worst was that she turned me away when i arrived 10 mins earlier than the stipulated buffet timing on the coupon! And the restaurant was empty! Couldn't she even let me take a seat inside the restaurant? She only agreed to let me take a seat inside after discussing for 5 mins with another colleague. I think this is a super bad service attitude!

Anyway Der tried brinjal (eggplant) for the first time yesterday! Yes you heard me right! hahah for a guy that nv eats veg for 26 years of his life, i applaud him for his courage. He thinks it tasted lk soggy apples haha. Kuku...

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
