The free-er i get, the lazier i get. I'm even lazy to blog now hah. Well, I have not reached the " i'm-bored-to-tears" stage yet. (Maybe tt's coz I know i've only 2 weeks of this lifestyle) I loveee being free. I love slacking at home watching my shows, meeting friends for brunch, lunch, high-tea, dinner. (Stupid Han.. said tt i'm forever eating... I love eating wat! cannot mehhhh) Among the many meet ups this week, much inspirations for this entry came from meeting my ex Manpower colleagues. One person missing- Raji, an indian gal. Singapore really spells racial harmony. It's usually only me, Han (chinese), fas (malay) and Raji (indian). Though we hardly see each other, We juz get along and they're super funny peeps. Ok i'm ready with all the pics!! i've counted.. a whopping total of 441! So here r the selected few. Day 1: Took a bus from HK airport, in search for our budget hotel. The moment i opened the rm door, i got a shock of my life. I was literally stunned for a moment. Well, we put down our stuff and off we went in search of food and SHOPPING! We din stay at our hotel for the first night. We took off all make up, tied our hair up and Off we went in a super unglam look to Shenzhen for a spa. It was awesomeee... abt $40, i was treated lk a princess, slept well, ate well, had full body message. Sorry peeps, no pics taken in the spa.. hurhur. Day 2: Bye bye SPA. Had dim sum at shenzhen.. not bad.. quite cheap too. Headed to Mok kok to shop and eat somemore after returning to HK. The evening was spent at Happy Valley. We went to watch horse racing! Sheryl & Faith won about 50HKD each, i only won 50cents hahah after deducting the amt i spent to buy and Jacyn lost. Day 3: Off to Stan...

Hey peeepssss i'm back from HK =) I loveeee HK. 1 must do in hk is CLUBBING! pls go to the club called sugar. The guys r freakinggggggggg cute. Not kidding. Never seen so many cute guys congregated in one area before. We were literally drooling the entire night! Anyway, i've so many pics, i need time to sort them out. I think there's almost 300 pics or more hahah. Today was also bryan's birthday celebration! I love meeting up with all. so fun!

I ran 8k todayyyy ok actually i think i walked 1/3. But i completed it k! muz say i'm impressed with myself. I've nvvvv ran so much before! All thanx to Evan goh, who gave me a shock of my life when he pulled his car by pierce reservior, together with a grp of Citibankers. Side track: Evan's friend is a model!! super cute haha Well he can really run.. 2 rounds.. 16k. My idol.....awwwwwwwww..... So there we go... mel's face almost turn white when Mr cutie says the route is 8k. Running with a bunch of guys and 1 other melissa (who is lk the top3 runners in citibank), scares me. Mel can't run for nuts. Fortunately, it wasn't tt bad. Take comfort i wasn't last.. but a 50 odd age uncle runs faster then me sigh... (another big shot in citibank) but he was quite NICE to talk to ( i can sooo c evan sniggering at me for using niceee to describe ppl ). That's abt it.. the tired mel is going to sleep i think. i feel skinnier hahah ( my own mind playing tricks on me...

4 more days to IB paper followed by corp reporting. I kindda realised it's going to be real fast. My ex-colleague juz asked if i'm going to be done with sch yet.. i was lk "yeah.. by sat, i'm totally done with sch.. can't wait!". Once exams r done, it's followed by HK then.. work.... It juz donned on me tt work means work now. No more just a few months of something different then back to the usual. (I'm refering to things lk internship.. or hols break.. then back to sch again. Sch's like my usual life). My usual life is going to change . It's going to be revolving around work and no longer sch. I'm going to be stuck with the same co. unlike school where at least i noe i'll be stuck for only 4 years til graduation. Unless i decide to jump or something, it'll be the same co. Sounds scary? Not sure... time do pass quite quickly. Actually I'm a person who enjoys routine though complain abt being bored. I don't c myself stepping ...

no mood no mood no mood........ no mood to study at all! the 1 week study break is ending.. exam week next week. Yikes! Wish me luck ppl. Can't wait for HK =) Anyway, i've signed the contract. yes.. i'm starting work sooon.. May 7th.

Faith found the SPA place in Shenzhen!!! yipeee we're all heading to shenzhen on the first day we touch down at HK after checking in. Apparently it's a cheap and good SPA place where ppl can stay over night for free. I'm sooo going to get myself pampered. Neever been to a SPA before =) I can so feel the tai tai vibes in me. Wish me luck. It's my calling. Maybe i'll get to hook up with some rich man ( dreaming when it's only in the afternoon )

Hong Kong Trip : 17th-21st April!

I've never thought i'll ever attend an alumni dinner. I always thought it was for lk really old people. My guess wasn't wrong either. But i do think we shld all attend it together next year! Ok so I attended the SAC Alumni dinner yesterday night. It was held in the UIC building, right beside conference hall. Well as the graduating batch of 2000, we were the youngest group there. I can't remember many.. not even teachers.. my memories for sec sch and jc are kindda jumbled together. I really have to thank Sharon on this. She had to refresh my memory on everyone. So it's also no wonder that the teachers can't remember me hah. The only 2 teachers i remember was Ms Masura and Mr Robb, but they're both not in Singapore. Sharon and Grace were super siao-onz. They even changed to their Prefect's uniform! Seriously... sharon ... u haven changed one bit!!! scary oopz... Sacians! Remember her?? Mrs Yip, previously known as Ms. Koh. Today was lk the busiest day ever. Had presentation in the morning, CORP test in the afternoon, interview after the test. Stayed in sch til 1230am doing the ppt, still had to study when i go home. Slept for only 3 hrs last night! I was soo scared i'll be late for my morning presentation. Florence lian was one of the judges for our presentation!! The judges were impressive. I aspire to be like them someday. On a side note, florence's hair and colour's very nice =) Ok i cannot tahan liao.. I've to slp. i'll continue doing tmr's ppt tmr and most imptly my corp report! the test is once again a flop.. guessed every single qn. My mum refuse to let me go to HK for my supposedly grad trip. She thinks HK sux. She thinks the ppl are so not friendly, things are expensive, I've been there lk 3 times before and... I'm jobless yet i'm still thinking of playing. My dad thinks she's crazy haha. All he asked me when i asked him abt the trip was.. Dad: Go there for wat? Me: Duh.. go overseas of course holiday la. Dad: Go with who? Me: My SMU friends lor. All gals Dad: All gals? No guys? Ok go... hahah everyone thinks my dad is funny.. ok i really wonder wat's with the all gals.. i thought it's better to have guys isn't it? Anyway the pt is... I'm still going to pluck my courage to ask my mum again. Though my dad thinks i shld ignore her, she'll be nagging at me for life! i swear!!! She's super power.. she kindda lost her voice these 2 days but she could still nag and put down the trip soo much yesterday. She insist i shld go somewhere else but HK! I think she's lying though......

I've nv ending projs to be done. I'm seldom a last min person when it comes to my part of the proj. But, this sem, i always do my part only in the morning before my meeting. SBM proj has been such a flop so far.. my hardest marketing proj ever.. no creative juices are flowing.. SO here i am, taking a break and blogging on the happenings of the week. There's quite a photo galore but I shall post the weekends pics another time. After I've the time to sort them out. Celebrated a belated birthday on fri night. Not bad.. relaxation time after an entire day of failed brain storming. I can so c the gloomy clouds over all our heads during proj meeting. We all felt so screwed. I love my international business grp mates to bits! The best team I have this sem. They're all so easy to work with. No awarkward silence, no tense moments. Furthermore, i only noe them this sem =) Alot have to be attributed to HEROS! we all love the show thus the nick names hah. *** For project sake, we made another trip to another European MNC.

I love travelling but not travelling in Singapore. I've been ard Singapore so much these days. After going to the west, now i went to the east. Far... east.. all the way to Changi airport. ( just for the sake of my overseas friends, Singapore is not very big. Travelling from one end to another would maybe take about an hour or so. I'm just lazy haha ). Ok so i was at the airport having dinner with Fiona and Sharon yu. Actually I do love the airport. I love taking planes, seeing planes taking off etc. The other particular food place i love in the airport is Popeyes! Yummy~~ Only place that serves Popeyes ! think they shld open more outlets in Singapore. *** Went swimming again today. think our sch pool's quite cool too hah. It's so empty and clean. We've the pool to ourselves. Going to make full use of it before i graduate and my card becomes in valid.

I mean literally to the west part of Singapore, a place totally out of my usual radius hah. The ever oh-so-nice elgin picked me up from my hs at 1040 am in the morning and off we went to NTU, in hope of studying for the day. ( pai sei la elgin, make u wait for me for 40 mins haha i bet u seldom wait for ppl so i give u a different experience LOL ) Anyway, I think guys shld give a break to NTU gals. I don't c anything wrong with them. In fact i did spot a few rather sweet looking ones. Though there were less short skirts, but i think i spotted more short shorts! There's really no diff between gals in smu vs ntu. It's all in the mind. ( ok i'm speaking for myself.. smu peeps reading this can dun agree with me ). On the reverse note, there's seriously lack of eye candy for gals. Poor things... no shuai ge!!! esp since the population of guys is lk double or even more of smu! Apparently, this's the world's slimmest 3G handset. But i just hate the look! Look lk a calculator. So wide and flat. I've a hard time msging with 1 hand, which is wat i normally do. i also need to go through more than the usual no. of steps juz to send a sms. I mean the features and all r supposedly very good. The phone even has a 2 mega pixels cam. But i'm more of a aesthetic person. I prefer it to look good than to have good features since i hardly use any features in a phone. Well i got it for free when i changed to the mio plan coz my dad refuse to let me pay money to buy a phone! so irritating. Now i've to wait for his starhub plan to be up before i can change to a new phone coz starhub phones are always cheaper than singtel! I really wonder if i'll ever get use to this phone. I mean i always think it's a matter of use to.
