Happy New Year!

It is already 2020 and the last time I blogged was way back in September 2019. I was so occupied with the kiddos, travelling back to Singapore, time just flew by. We spent 1 month in Singapore and only got back to LA at the end of Nov. Jet lag took a terrible toll on Mason. He was screaming and crying every night for at least 1 entire week. Then Christmas came, followed by New Year. It all went by in a flash. To those who asked me how was Mason on the flight? The answer is terrible. He hates being confined in spaces. He cannot sit still, he did not sleep well. It was tiring for me too. I was carrying him all the time. The worst part, we are heading back for CNY again for 2 weeks. Totally not looking forward to it.
Check out my tone arm.
Charlotte on the other hand was an angel. She got to watch all the television and play all the games she wanted. She had a lot of juice and junk food. She was a happy girl.
I really want to document more on what we did back in Sin and since we got back. But it got to be another time for now as Mason will be waking up soon and I still have so much chores to be done.

Happy 2020!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
