Cousins In Town

Charlotte's cousin, Bryant was in LA for a week and despite their love hate relationship, they had a blast playing together. Kids! one moment they are screaming at each other and crying, the next moment they can't leave each other's sight. They even had to go to the toilet together. Charlotte, being the younger one just copies her cousin Bryant all the time. From what he says to what he does. Even when she does not understands, she will just go on repeat mode.

After desperately trying to copy the peace action, Charlotte is now able to do it and she is very proud of herself. Thus she loves doing it whenever she takes photos.

Bryant's mum was telling me that he had Charlotte withdrawal symptoms when they got back to Singapore. He even woke up in the middle of the night saying that he misses Charlotte. Not sure about Charlotte though. But I am sure, she misses all his ipad action hah. I think it could be one of their favourite activity when they are together.
Hopefully the kiddos will remember that they had so much fun together when they meet again back in Singapore!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding .
