Disneyland

Charlotte finally made it to Disneyland. After all the procrastinating, we finally bought an annual pass and brought Charlotte there. Even though she has no clue what Disneyland was all about, she was all pumped up and excited that she was able to wear her Snow White costume. Instead of going there early in the morning, we went in the afternoon, after brunch. The timing couldn't have been better. Charlotte had something to eat and took a nap while we drove there. Saved my ears from her screaming that she is not feeling well. She still does that quite a bit whenever she needs to get into her car seat.
Charlotte's first ride in Disneyland. Dumbo the flying elephant. Surprisingly, she was quite good when it came to queuing for rides. Even though we went on a weekday, the queue for the rides were at least 30mins. But she seemed to understand that we need to queue if we want to get on any rides. She didn't really fussed while queuing. But my arms were aching the next day from carrying her so much.
We also managed to catch the parade. Charlotte was dancing along with the music throughout the parade.

We got a picture with Mickey Mouse too! She was initially afraid of them. But after she saw a kid hugging Mickey Mouse, she decided she wanted to do so too hah.

It was a pity that the fireworks got cancelled due to bad weather conditions. They replaced it with a light show and falling fake snow. It was really pretty. Charlotte had so much fun trying to catch the falling snow.
In any case, we all enjoyed ourselves a lot that day. Despite being so tired, Charlotte allowed me to change her into her pj when we got home and brushed her teeth before going to bed again by herself. Usually this only happens when she is really tired after a very enjoyable day. I can't wait to go back again to visit the adventure land.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Having the Chills

If you, Derrick is ever reading this, I would suggest you close this page. It's my right to type whatever I want. I won't mince my words because this is my space. I hardly feel unwell and this not the best time to fall sick. Yet I'm having the chills. Whenever my boob hurts, I will start to get the chills and a little temperature. It had to come at the time when i'm feeling totally not in the mood to do anything. I think I should swallow a few more pills. What I had isn't enough. Guess feeling down really brings down one's immune system. We just got news that we will be moving back to Singapore and the first thing that came to my mind is F*** I've to face her. That fake face (literally fake. No amount of make up helps la. old means old. draw what draw) who pretends she doesn't care or even when we talk face to face she says no no it's ok. PUI! Der will be unhappy reading this but i blame it on him for making the situation like this. No amount of ...

Bigger Issue

Now a bigger issue has risen for us to worry about. Due to unfortunate circumstances, LA seems to be going through an apocalypse. Everyone is told to stay at home. Schools, libraries, malls, everything is closed. No more dine in restaurants, only take out and delivery. Only shops that are open are mainly grocery stores and there are either limited food choices or there are queues to get in so as to ensure "social distancing". This "social distancing" is the in word now. I am not very sure about this term. But the distancing sux. It's so quiet everywhere, I feel like a zombie would appear in front of me any moment.  I just got news that even playgrounds will be closed starting tomorrow. How scary is that? Even though it has been scary going to the playground these days because we always end up being the only family there, at least the kids get to run a round a bit.  It is tough staying home with 2 kids. I feel frustrated and a bit lost. I don't want Ch...
