All Turned Out Well :)

Today is the first time I brought Charlotte out alone and had 2 plans in a row. Something I never did before because I know Charlotte will be tired which means I will be tired. However as it was Ru's birthday and I had won 2 free tickets to a show, I decided to give it a try.

We headed to Asia Grand for dim sum and I actually managed to eat properly. Charlotte ate well but most importantly, God Mummy Steffi managed to bribe her with a new toy and she was kept entertained.
Loving her new toy.
Happy Birthday Ru! Even though it looks like we are celebrating for Charlotte as well. And she even got new toys while you had no presents haha
The crew for the day!

After lunch, Charlotte fell asleep on her stroller while I took a walk to MBS. She had a good 40 mins nap which was enough for her to build up her energy. I won 2 tickets to Disney in Concert: A Dream Is A Wish. I was reluctant to bring Charlotte initially as I think she would not be able to sit through a concert. However I was wrong! She sat through the first half and for the second half, she was standing, clapping and trying to sing along! I think she enjoyed herself a lot! I am very surprised.
Coincidentally, God Mummy Penny and I wore similar outfits hahah
It had been a fun filled day for the little one. She actually asked to go to bed at 8am. Yippe!! I'm a happy mummy :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
