Ballet???

Charlotte attended her first ballet class 2 weeks ago. She seemed to love it and was able to follow through some of the steps. It was easier for her to follow when there is music and movement. She hated stretches though. She would just roll around or lie on the floor whenever it was stretching time. However, the 2nd lesson was kind of a disaster. She didn't want to follow the teacher and was constantly saying "home home home" and crying a little from time to time. Not sure if she likes the class now but we will still give it a shot for this month. After that incident, I can totally feel for the parents whose kid would not cooperate during classes.

Hopefully she will do better in the next class. *Cross my fingers* and the class aint cheap! Feels like it is a little waste of $ when the kid does not want to listen to instructions. I guess not everything will be smooth sailing all the time. But I must say Charlotte does look cute in the tutu skirt. I couldn't stop laughing inside me hah.

Since the venue of the class is inside a park, Charlotte always get to play at the park after class. I think she is the happiest then. Like all kids, she just enjoys running around like crazy.

This was her running away from the water that is splashing out from the fountain.

Alright, that's all for now. Byebye!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
