Moscow is gradually catching up on the Christmas spirit. Traditionally, Christmas in Russia, in the Russian Orthodox Church is celebrated on 7th Jan. This year, we see more Christmas trees, decorations etc everywhere. Even at the frozen ponds that people ice skates on, there are Christmas trees and decorations popping up. These were not seen last year.
We were pleasantly surprised at the sight! Charlotte too had her share of fun running on the frozen pond. The moment we let her down, she dashed towards the tree.
Charlotte and her winter essential, a shovel.
We had fun coming down the snow slope too. Of course it was nothing compared to snow boarding. But with a toddler around, it was better than nothing.
