Merry Christmas from Moscow!

And the little one is terrified of Santa -_-! She was so terrified that she was crying and trying to wriggle away even though I was carrying her hah.
We spent Christmas this year in Moscow with a couple of Singaporean friends. As of today, I think Sienna is Charlotte's best friend. The only friend she is most familiar with haha.
All thanks to Alene, we had a fantastic Christmas meal on Christmas eve! The turkey was delicious! So grateful to have  a friend like her in Moscow. The best part of it, our kiddo are almost the same age. This makes hanging out together so much more convenient.
I am pretty sure Charlotte enjoyed herself this festive period. From playing toys at Sienna's place to roaming the city. The city of Moscow has so many entertainment for kids this year. There are carousel at almost every Christmas market and they are all free! She loved it!

On Christmas day, she also got to open her present from us :) A teapot set. She seems to be enjoying it still. Walking around the house with either the cups or the spoon.
In the afternoon, the girls hung out again. Running and screaming their heads off for no reason haha. Charlotte was the little copy cat who has to do whatever Sienna does. It was hilarious. They even held hands at the end of the day.

So Christmas came to an end just like this... Bye bye 2016 Christmas. It was a white Christmas for us this year. Can't help but think what is install for us next year. Hot Christmas? White Christmas? hahah Till then...
As for Charlotte, it will be a yay! I had so much fun! She definitely enjoyed a white Christmas this year. Can't wait for more fun Christmas to come :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
