28th Week

I'm in my 3rd and final trimester. Only about 2 more months to go before I pop. Where did time fly too? I'm currently back in Singapore and will be staying till I pop. Der is back too but just for 1 week and we have been busy trying to settle stuff for our new place. We have finally settled on a contractor and have selected the tiles for our house. But there are still many many and never ending decisions to be made.

As for baby, she has been growing well in my tummy. She is about 1.2kg now which is normal for a 28 week old baby. I have gained about 9kg and yet baby is only 1.2kg?! goodness... As usual, my problem with pregnancy is bad skin. Ever since I got pregnant, my belly has started to be quite hairy haha. It is no longer itchy now but I'm starting to have spots on my belly. According to my gyne, I have some hair follicles infection thus causing the spots on my belly. Her solution to me... just leave it. It's not that bad... My gyne really does not care about aesthetics at all. Whenever I tell her about my skin problems, she will say yea it's like that.. How comforting?? Well I guess my belly will be covered anyway. Till the day I start to wear a bikini, is the day I start to fret again hah.

Now we have to fret over the name of the baby. We have a list of names and I think we have ultimately narrowed down to 2 names but we can't decide on one! I think it should be either Ariel or Charlotte. hmmm... but of course, this will change anytime haha

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
