Big Bad Wolf

My friends and I had dinner at Big Bad Wolf along East Coast Road. One of the new most talked about cafe that has popped up. I guess the crowd kind of fizzle as it wasn't as crowded as before. We were turned away one fri night as they were too packed.

As the name suggested, the theme was from The Little Red Riding Hood. Even the chair had the big bad wolf sewn on it.

The food were pretty decent but the choicest were limited. I would say they serve the typical cafe food at a reasonable priced. With the limited choices, we tried almost everything on the menu.

Burgers

Bangers and Mash. I liked this the best. The sausages were yummy.

Cottage Pie in a cute little piggy bowl. Actually I'm not a huge fan of potato and I think it taste the same as the Shepard pie made by my mum.

I heard the famous dessert was the chocolate tart. However we were there for my birthday so we had our own cake instead.

Well, I like the concept of the place and I think it is rather cute over there. Worth visiting a new place once. However I am not sure if I will make the effort to go down again as I can get such food almost anywhere.
Anyway, some cute stuff I got... a Hello Kitty Balloon! I made everyone take a pic with it that day :)

Lastly, my latest cute collection...A spotty rabbit from Lisa!! Thank You Lisa!!
I've walked past the shop at PS a couple of times and I really thought this rabbit is soo cute. However I have no clue what's the use of it and der gave me the perplexed look whenever I say it is cute hah. I was pleasantly surprised when Lisa actually got me one! Don't you think it's just adorable??

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
