Relaxing Phuket

I love my Phuket Villa! All thanks to Ms Low, I got the luxury of staying in such a luxurious Villa :) - Mövenpick Bangtao Beach.
A room perfect for a couple hah. Until now, I wake up every morning still dreaming I'll wake up to the view of the pool right by my living rm... If only I can afford such a place in reality... I think I would save a lot of $ right? I don't need to travel! I'm so brillant!

Our own private pool

This was indeed a relaxing trip where there was no rush to do anything or go anywhere. We took our time to chill and relax...

We spent loads to time doing jumps!

We drove out for good food when we were hungry. Introducing YoYo Seafood Restaurant. Best recommendation by Penny on this trip. The seafood was good and fresh. Most importantly, very reasonably priced. I will definitely pay that place a visit if I am going to Phuket again.

On the other hand, a place with a fantastic ambiance (accompanied by a fantastic price as well.. about $70 per pax) doesn't come with such yummy food. But it will be worth going if you will like to impress your date hah. Actually it reminds me of Villa Bali.

A must try when you're at Phuket, the road side BBQ chicken wings. They were yummlicious~

Besides swimming, eating and massages, we did more swimming again! So we decided to plank... hahaha

And to do some acrobatic stunts...

Even though Bangtao beach was just behind us, we only spent half an hr there haha. The weather was too hot and we didn't want to get burnt. Our missing didn't even want to touch salt water at all. Anyway, the wave at Bangtao was also so strong, we had difficulty in standing up.

This marked the end of my 3 days Phuket trip..... Till the next time :)

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
