Drama Craze & BBQ at Kat's Place

My love hate relationships with Sunday can just go on forever. I'm sure many of you can understand how I feel. Just the thought of returning to work on Monday and the lost of freedom to wake up at anytime of the day, SUX hah. Oh and not forgetting, I can't indulge freely and dream of my Taiwanese dramas that I have been so addicted to recently. I am never able to finish watching the drama that I find in youtube at one go as I watched them too quickly. I watch the dramas even faster that it is uploaded heh. I am always left at the last episode!! I hate it. Most of the time the last episode is uploaded, I will have already lost interest in it. This happened for "Hi My Sweetheart" by Rainie Yang and Alan Luo.

So I've moved on to my current addiction "Autumn Concerto" by Vanness Wu and Ady An. Forget about him in Meteor Garden. Seriously, he looks FAB in this show. With the short hair, I think he looks simply attractive! *Swoon* haha but maybe the reason is because he's the main lead and there's no comparison. But I really like the story and the chemistry between him and Ady. :)

Anyway life goes on so cheer up peeps and be prepared for the Monday blues that will come soon heh. However next week should be a better week with the Chinese New Year mood around the corner.I have not bought any particular new clothes for CNY but I do have a couple of dresses in mind. :) Hope they aren't too expensive as I've busted my budget for this month. I am becoming quite a shopaholic. I feel so happy when buying new stuff. Should have seen how Ru and I shopped last sat. Non stop buying hah it was fun!!

This sat was spent differently. It was non stop eating instead. We had a BBQ at Kat's place and there were sooo much food, each of us brought back enough for another round of BBQ at each person's place again. I've kind of lost interest in taking pictures with my lousy camera as everyone around me are now carrying a pro cam. So no pics at the bbq but I still whipped it up when we gathered up at her place after the BBQ session.

More snacking on nuts

Playing Uno Stacko. We played MJ and cards too :)

And celebrating Andy's Birthday which means more eating again!

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
