Packed Weekend

This weekend has been a totally packed and fruitful one. It allowed me to forget that I won't be going to Europe for a moment. BUT i'm still very upset!! I haven travelled to such a far country for such a long time and now, I have no idea when it'll happen....sigh....

Anyway, weekend started on thurs night. Went bowling and Watched X-Men: Wolverine with my colleagues. I loved it!! Nice! (according to my standards hah. The guys thought it was OK only) Next show I want to watch is Taken. Heard it is worth watching. My colleagues and I have been going out pretty often these days. There are also as many farewells coming up. Another thing to sigh abt... so demoralizing. Only 3 of the same batch ppl left standing.

For the short span of the next 3 days, I attended 2 birthdays, 1 house warming and 1 void deck dinner. Not forgetting, der got a new toy. His old vintage cam. This cam is as old as us.
1st up - Happy 21st Birthday 104!
2nd - Happy 1 yr old Alyse :)

3rd house warming cum der's aunt birthday

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...
