cranky cranky go away! no idea y i've been so cranky lately and who else but u have to bear the brunt... as usual. Glad i had a break today. Even though it didn't started off all well in the beginning, i'm glad it ended well.

Watched my super duper long awaited movie of the year....*drumrollzzzz*

I loveee the show but was a bit disappointed that Samantha wasn't her full character in the movie. But, all in all, i love the friendship they share and of course the lifestyle. The new age financially empowered ladies, living in uptown Manhattan, trotting the streets with the latest monola blahniks and latest louise etc. ahhhh the kind of life....

Back to reality.... mel went shopping for cheap shampoos at chinatown after the movie. (reality sux.. buy redken shampoo also got to go buy cheap ones. By the way, shampoo at people's park is damn cheap as compared to the salons la. It's lk half the price can!) So the auntie in me went up and down levels looking for the store tt sells the cheapest shampoo.

However, i wasn't the only aunty for the day. Someone else was as uncle as me. Check this out...

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
