Weekend @ Genting

Yes! i'm ready to blog abt my weekend in Genting (actually not really... i'm feeling terrible with my nose & ears blocked and coughing away at this moment AND Ru is totally ignoring me on my queries on whether my Victoria Secrets stuff r in stock. I'm lk oblivious to her.. she juz continues asking how to go abt blogging on her new blog!)

Anyway... Started our road trip at 7am in the morning. Introducing our trusty driver... EK! u're the man! hurhur... all the way up.. 6 hrs.. (On a serious note, Thanx EK =) don't always say i'm mean to u can... I also said u're veryyyy nice wat...i really appreciate it la heh)



Also introducing my tortured party on the trip up! Jamessssss. Look at his shocked face sitting with me. I din let him sleep a wink coz i needed someone to entertain me. I can't keep still being cooped up in such a small area for so long. He told me his entire life story and also stories abt the others.... hurhur (don't worry peeps, ur secrets r safe with moi)



And of course.. there'll be no trip without my bestie.. PENNY LOW Chio Lian.. hahahha



Had a super late lunch upon reaching Genting and it's Casino here-we-come immediately. My first time in the casino and I thought i was going to be choked to death by all the smoke. Din really lk it there. Guess i'm not much of a gambler huh.

KTV time after casino. The guys drank sooo much.. it was scary! They were literally drinking martell out of the bottle. Everyone was soo freaking high! Fav song *drumroll...* Beyond! Everyone were having arms around each other singing tt song aloud. Even though i din noe the song, I was doing the same thing. I suddenly feel that all u guys r so bonded together *grinz*

Night ended with more drinks in Ben & Mark's rm.. i was so gone.. i juz slept. Ugly pics shall not be up on this blog hurhur...

AND sooo. finally.. Fun times always had to end.. grp pic of all! BYE Genting =)



Before i forget!! I muzzzzzzz tell u guys abt my "super fun" game hahaha. We played "Cai Quan" loser have to drink water and cannot go to the toilet!! ahaah our trusty bottle of mineral water. Think only MK is most enthu to play with me hahah tt's y he's face got to be in the pic with the bottle! hahaha

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

Pending Down My Thoughts for 2021

 10.07pm, 31 Dec 2021.  The year 2021 is coming to an end. The year of Covid. The year we left LA and returned to Singapore for good. It has been 9 months since we got back but I still feel like it happened so recently. One of the Singaporean family we met in LA and hung out very often is in town to visit. Charlotte asked if we can return to LA together. She asked if we are really not going back anymore. We all miss LA a lot. Definitely much more than Moscow even though Moscow is a very memorable place too.  Spent the day at Sentosa, The Luge. Kiddos had a lot of fun despite the heat. I enjoyed myself a lot too and I am missing the times we hung out in LA. Thinking about them going back and us staying behind makes me a little sad. The kids still got along very well even though we have not met for sometime. Hopefully their friendship will remain as they continue to grow up. Recap of 2021 1. I realized I can bake.  2.
