Little Random Details About Me

Above was us before the race... and below was us after the race. Look at Ms red face! hahahah I thought her face was hilarious!     Red was the final straw.. it covered all other colours that was on us. We were quite clean before the red section. My shoes in a sea of purple. I thought this looked pretty.   Even this doggy is here for the run This is the first year the colour run is held in Singapore. Despite the long queue for collection and some bad press, I guess it was a success... Everyone was so high. The atmosphere made me feel like I'm at a rock concert rather than a run hah. I'm pretty sure the run will be back again next year.

A short weekend trip to Bali with the girls for my hens night was great fun!  The crazy girls that made it to the trip :) This trip was basically filled with massages, food and...   ...drinks!  We had a crazy night at Potato Head! My dear bridesmaid styled my hair n we even have a matching flower to go along hah    sunset at Potato Head    I think this is the last sober pic of us... I remembered hugging the toilet bowl after this haha Thanks girls for making this happen! I can't wait to go for the next one :)

I paid a little fortune today to help salvage my "sexy back". Hopefully it works. If it does, I will definitely share more about.  i'm so disturbed by my ugly tan lines. It is everything that is on my mind right now. *cross my fingers*

Congrats Bro! It is time for more grad pics again hah. The idea of wearing my grad gown again after 6 years sound interesting. I wonder if I put the pic side by side, will I see that I have aged significantly? With my excited grandfather, who even brought a video cam to video the whole ceremony in the hall.

I have very ugly and dark racer back tan lines! And I only have 2 more months to go! I have resorted to using face whitening mask even on my back *cry* please let them fade off sooon.... Anyone has any better suggestions on what I can do??

I finally get to see my own pics taken in Singapore. I'm really glad I had good experiences with all the photographers so far. But I still don't get the limited pic policy in Singapore. Why would a bridal studio limit the photos I can keep? So what happens to the rest? Isn't it a waste of the photographer's time if I get to keep only some of their work? Luckily I remained firm and chose not a single pic more than what was included in my package hah. Bridal studios must hate me. I'm probably one of the few decisive bride that can select pics alone and still be decisive enough to choose within what I paid for initially. Kudos to me!   

I'm not sure how much of a diet plan I'm trying to fulfill these days especially since I've been eating so much more desserts as compared to before! I've always got a sweet tooth but it seems to be much sweeter these days haha Thanks Faith for introducing Brunetti @ Tanglin Mall I was totally captivated by the dessert spread the moment I stepped in. How can anyone not be captivated by the below?? I felt like I'm on one of my Europe trips again. Trying 1 macaroon and an eclair was not enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. Thus I went back again today to get more hah!!Doesn't it look like a gift from heaven? hahah Ok I'm exaggerating but the colours were all so pretty, I just could not resist and they only cost $2.25 each. Most importantly, they taste good! I still can't taste why Laduree can cost so much more.

I think us cousins have never been more united...  RIP Ah Ma.... You will always remain in our hearts.

I thought 5 months and 10 days to my wedding seems only like a short time away. I guess it is still too long for my grandma. She will not be unable to make it....

I had a great time doing part of my pre wedding photo shoot in Sydney. It was a day full of surprises. Thanks Derrick! We started off early in the morning to our first location - Fairlight beach. A quiet beach with a beautiful rock pool. Lunch was at manly beach since we were pretty near. I'm glad I caught a glimpse of manly beach. Even a random snapshot turned out pretty good huh. We were also fortunate to be able to do a short photo shoot at Cafe Sydney. The management was very accommodating. I didn't expect such a nice view. I love that place. It is perfect for a date night. However for people who wish to get our spot (outdoors), I think you might have to book months in advance.   It was my first time seeing a lion dance performance in a hdb hah. Pretty cool~  Huat ar!

Whenever I mentioned that I went to Cambodia, everyone will ask "Oh Angkor Wat?". Nope... I did not go to Angkor Wat. Instead I spent 4 days in Phnom Penh. Initially I thought 4 days was too long but in fact, it was just nice. Of course more could have been done in those 4 days but I was too lazy hah. And the weather was so HOT! As a person with bad skin, sun is definitely not good for me. This trip was a very educational trip for me. Before I even thought of going to Cambodia, I had no clue of the Killings, Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot etc. A very brief summary - A communist society was built and as a result, thousands of people were tortured and killed brutally. The most shocking thing to me was that this ended only in 1979, just a couple of years before I was born.  I was quite taken a back that this happened so near my era and I am totally ignorant about it.
