Count Down

1 more month to go and we are still undecided on the name for the baby. I think I had more feel when I was having Charlotte. This time round, time seemed to pass faster. Maybe it's because I am just preoccupied with Charlotte. No more reading up on baby stuff, reading specifically for the baby in the tummy, listening to classical music etc. who cares what freaking size the baby is every month. Wonder why we were so into it last time. In fact, nothing at all. I will just handle it as it comes along. Handling adults will probably be harder than handling a baby.

I think I am more worried about Charlotte then anything else. I hope she'll be ok on the day I go to the hospital, the time I stay in the hospital and thereafter. Actually I think she will be fine as she has shown herself to be quite adaptable. She'll get used to it. Don't know why am I worrying. Just entice her with play and she will forget all about me. But this is something my mum is very bad at. All my mother is concerned about is food and making herself busy at the kitchen all the time. Someone else is better at that but might be useless in a foreign land.

The Orange Timber

Today was a pretty chill day, walking around, eating and reading my book! It has been a long time since I walked along Blk 85 market. I think the last time was during my sec sch days, on my way back to my grandma house after sch. Since I had breakfast there with my grandma today, I showed der the old sch cake shop where Cham and I bought a huge cream cake (not those fanciful ones we get these days) and finished it all by ourselves under the void deck! Der and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a slice each :) Strawberry vs blueberry...Only $1.10 each. Those miniture ones that are sold at toast box cost $1.20 and they are only 1/3 the size of this! What a rip off for something nostalgia... Later in the evening, we decided to chill at The Orange Timber @ Tiong Bahru The Orange Timber is a cafe cum art gallery. The plates are bowl used were also meant to be something nostalgia once again... hah However, I use those cutlery at home too. There are like 3 sections to this small cafe...

JetSaver Light Challenge - Penang Trip

A very big Thank You to Jetstar and JetSaver Light! We had an AWESOME trip. Not only was it a cultural and stomach full filling trip filled with nothing but one of the very best food :), we also experienced the affable nature of the people in Penang and most importantly, we made many friends to keep :) Below was the itinerary that got us selected. And we're proud to say that we completed everything mentioned and accomplished even more. Wednesday, 1st July  marks JetSaver Light inaugural flight to Penang and also our, team 4's (GO! Go! team 4!!), inaugural trip to Penang on Jetstar with a budget of SGD60. After the initial briefing and collecting of our SGD60 which we converted to  RM144 , we were all ready and excited to jet off. Checking out the duty free at terminal 1 before boarding . Upon our arrival at Penang, we were warmly welcomed by a group of local performers . A surprising start to the trip. A photo taken together with 2 of the performers outside Penang International...
